"Alright, we can do that." Ashly said, slowly pulling back even if her body didn't want to. "It's a good thing that my apartment is just right there." She added, pointing to the apartment buildings just up ahead. It felt nice that she could have someone that she could feel so comfortable around someone even if they just met.

"It's not that bad really minus that having a German Shepherd staying there. But other than that, it's not so bad." He said, thinking about it.

She shook her head as she softly said "But I can not live in an apartment..."

The Asian boy shivered a bit, why was he so cold all of a sudden? He shook his head as he blew into his palms, then paused to listen and see if he got any answer. He jerked slightly as the other boy took him by surprise again, then sighed softly as he shook his head. "T-Thank you..." he said softly as he settled down. "U-Um..."

"Well how come?" He asked her, slightly confused.

She sighed as she lowered her head. "MY parents...they um..."

Harry allowed his arms to fall to his side once Ashly pulled back from him and he looked toward the building she was pointing to. "That's good. Now let's go inside. I'm sure it'll be more comfortable inside," he said. Gently, he grabbed a hold of her hand and began walking toward the building she had pointed to knowing that she would take the lead when she needed to. For now he just wanted to get her into a comfortable place so she could calm down.



"You're welcome," Carter said as he sat back down in his seat. The Canadian softly hummed to himself as he picked up a magazine that was sitting in the waiting room and began to flip through it, unsure of what to say to the boy that was beside him. It was a bit of an awkward situation for him.

"It will be, and you'll get to meet my dogs..... Now dont be upset if they dont come up to you right away. They were trained to be wary of strangers." She said. Ashly felt Harry hold her hand, and she smiled softly. She led the way to the apartment and reached for her keys with her other hand. Luckily for her, she lived on the second floor, so it wouldn't be too far.


After walking up the stairs, she unlocked the door. The sound of the two dogs barking, waiting to see who was at the door. Ashly opened the door and said, "Alright, off. Good pups, now go lay down in the bedroom." She said, and the shepherds listened and did they were told. The young woman opened the door wider and walked in, leading Harry in. "Please make yourself comfortable. Would you like something Harry?" She asked him, removing her shoes and walking over to the kitchen.

THe young man had fallen asleep sitting in the chair, though how he was still not falling over was anyone's guess. Shaking his head, he jerked awake when the lady finally brought the water to him, looking sheepish she had not done so fifteen to thirty minutes ago...He glanced up as the vet came out wiping glasses on the lab coat then placing them back on. He gulped as he began to silently pray...

"They what....? He asked her, waiting for her to reply.
