Preston College [Fall term] (Open) {Needs males}

As you walk onto the campus of Preston College in Frisco, Texas, aptly named since it's situated on Preston Road, you are greeted by a guy and a girl, both about 24-25 years old, who work for the college in the student life department. "Welcome to Preston College! I'm Jake, and this is Ashley. We'll be your tour guides as we show you around campus. First off, is this your first time in Frisco?" The group of students give a variety of answers. "Great! If not, it's great to have you stick around for the next two years! If it is, you'll definitely enjoy your time here! Second off, who just graduated from high school and this is your first time in college?" Several students raise their hands. "Good! We hope you'll enjoy the start of your college career here at PC! So, I assume the rest of you are just transfer students?" The rest kind of raise their hands awkwardly. "It's okay. We understand if it's not your first time to college, but we hope to make your experience here a great one! Now that we've got that down, let's go over some ground rules! Would you like to take it from here, Ash?"

"Yes, Jake," Ashley answers. "It's just a few simple rules, nothing too major." She then hands out handbooks to each student gathered at the front of the campus before opening her own handbook and reads the rules out loud.

Use as many characters as you'd like, although I'd recommend not using more than 5.

Try to keep the genders even. No use in having 12 girls and only 3 boys.

Drama is allowed.

If you're gonna leave the RP, whether temporarily or permanently, message me first.

Fade to black as needed.

Don't have your own characters have crushes on each other.

It's okay if more than one character has the same first name, but if you see someone already has that character's name, pick a different name to go by (middle name or nickname, even last name if you'd like).

I'm fine with short posts, but try to use proper grammar (proper use of your/you're, to/too/two, there/their/they're, etc.)

"Thank you Ashley," Jake says as she finishes. "Now that we've got that down, I've noticed some of you have on some sports teams gear," referencing some of the students wearing t-shirts and jerseys. "That's one thing that's big around here. Now, we may not have a football team, but we do have five other excellent programs here. For the ladies, we offer volleyball in the fall, men's and women's basketball in the winter, and baseball and softball in the spring. Do we have any athletes here?" A few students raise their hands. "Good! We'll be happy to have you represent the Preston Bulldogs! Wear that black and white proudly!"

"Now that we've got all the official intercollegiate sports covered, we've also got some intramural sports played between students here on campus, as well as other on-campus activities!" Ashley announces. "Right now, we have several sports with open spots available, so sign up while you can! These are all co-ed, so boys and girls can play with and against each other in these!" before she goes down the list. (WIP; feel free to PM me ideas to add.)

"One last thing!" Jake announces. "If you plan on living on-campus for this semester, please follow Ashley. She'll take you for a tour of the dorms. The rest of you, follow me, and we'll go get you signed up for classes and everything." As the group follows Ashley, they get to the dorm building shortly. "Okay, this is how we're gonna separate it," she announces. "Guys, to the left; girls, to the right. Freshmen guys will share their dorm with other freshmen guys. Same thing with sophomore guys, freshmen girls, and sophomore girls. We do have a rule about being in your dorm by 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday night, although it's rarely enforced, despite all the security cameras set up," as she points them out while going through the halls. After they finish touring the dorms, Ashley then announces, "Okay, so now all that's left is getting everyone enrolled in their classes. Follow me," before leading the group of students to the admissions building.

As soon as Ashley leads her group to the admissions office, Jake was standing there with his group. "Okay, so here's what's gonna happen. Everyone turn to the final page in your handbook and fill them out before turning them into the main admissions clerk, last window on the left." Everyone does so and looks at the form.

Austin pulls up onto campus in his white '70 Dodge Challenger, his first day of school anywhere back in his home state of Texas since his last day of high school. He was slightly nervous, only because he hadn't had to make this move in two years. Sure, he already missed playing football for Georgia State. Yeah, he was the star player going in, and yeah, they struggled, but he just missed being away from it all for the time being. But now he's back home in Frisco, TX. As those thoughts crossed his head, he pulls into a parking space in the 2nd level of the parking garage across the highway from campus, right next to the dorm buildings. After parking, he got out and took the elevator to the ground level and walked over to the pedestrian bridge that led from one side of the highway to the other before walking to one of the campus maps, trying to figure out where the Liberal Arts building was. "Aha!" Austin exclaimed to himself as he saw it was right behind the administration building. Once he walked around, he made his way inside said building and looked at the room number. #103. Austin looked up at the room numbers and found it, walking inside the classroom and took a seat on the second row by the aisle in the middle.

Holding her pristine schedule in one hand and her pre-paid workbooks in the other, the blonde haired girl stumbled down the corridor as she tried to find the classroom in which her first class was to commence. Everything around her seemed strange, foreign even. As this was her first time out of France the tall girl was unsure whether to ask for directions, or whether it was frowned upon. This world was very different from the one she had grown up in, there were no cobbled streets or paved roads, only noise and traffic. Despite all of this confusion she eventually encountered room number 324, general chemistry. Delphine entered hastily, taking a seat in the middle of the classroom, but ever so slightly to the left, beginning to prepare for the class to start.

Pulling up in his battered old Dodge Dakota pick up, the tall teen smiled to himself. This was his first time in full-time education since high school, and in some ways he was looking forward to it, more than he ever imagined he ever would. After leaving his ice hockey team in Canada Alex had not really had many people to socialize or hang with, and this was to be his next opportunity to make some new friends as such. Picking up his tattered schedule and shoving in to his pocket, the younger boy strutted his way to his first class, Introduction to criminal justice, taking a seat at the back of the classroom with a sigh.
