Dillon nodded a bit when the girl seemed like she was alright. A wave of relief washed over him for a moment, glad he hadn't hurt her, at least. He smirked a little at the girl's practically crimson cheeks, then shook his head a little. A small smile formed on his lips as he responded, "it's fine. There's no need to apologize for something like that...it's not really your fault. Some people just blush more than others. He bit his lip, glancing down at her as she knelt down to get her book. He was silent for a moment, puffing his cheeks out a bit and glancing up at the cloudy sky. He smiled a little and said, "Uh...I'm Dillon, by the way." he timidly extended his hand for her to shake.

Sky looked back up at Mitch, a bit surprised by his response. "Oh...y-you think so?" she asked quietly, feeling her cheeks burn a tad, turning just faintly pink for a moment. Usually, people had agreed with her, that the name was, indeed, quite odd. Honestly...it was kind of nice to hear that for a change, the fact that someone actually thought it was nice made her smile a little - and genuinely, without having to force it. She folded a little bit of her hair behind her ear as she then added with a small smile, "Thank you. I like your name, too, by the way." She glanced back down at Penny, for a moment, then back up at Mitch as a small laugh slipped out from between her slightly parted lips. She nodded in agreement and said, "Yeah, she really does. I mean...she always surprises me, she's such a little animal, but has so much energy." She was getting to be a bit more talkative than usual - Mitch seemed nice, so perhaps that's why. But she hadn't even realized her suddenly slightly less shy nature quite yet. She looked down at Matt and gave him a gentle pat on the head. "He seems pretty well-behaved," she complimented with a soft smile. Honestly, she had been in so many situations where larger dogs seemed to jump on her - and were usually just about as tall as her, so they'd end up knocking her over. Matt seemed like a pretty chill dog, though, which was a relief to not worry about having to fall backwards, for once.
Hey, guys. I apologize for the long hiatus! Still not completely sure if I will able to be on as regularly as I used to, as I am still dealing with some issues, but working through them. I will try to get on when I can, though, and may join/make a roleplay or two (my forms will not be as great as they used to be, since I only have access through my 3DS - and posting images is quite tedious on this thing - but, if you would like to see my old forms for reference to my literacy level, I can certainly send or post a link to one. c: ). Again, I apologize for the long absence!
