Michael was scrolling through his Twitter feed whilst he awaited a response from Ashleigh. His eyes lit up when he saw another message pop up from her. He read it, then grinned when she said she was at Starbucks, and requested him to meet her there. He quickly texted back, I will absolutely meet you there! See you soon, love you too. He smiled, locking the phone after sending the message. He slid the device into his pocket as he headed for the front door, grabbing his house key on the way out. He stepped outside, shut the door behind him, then locked it before quickly heading down the street. He couldn't wait to see her, again - finding time to spend time together could be difficult in their type of a situation...

Luke headed over to the front counter, seeing that no one else was in line. He ordered a caramel latte and then paid the barista. While he waited for his coffee to be made, he headed to a vacant table and sat down. It was a table near the teenage girl, who he had noticed glancing over at him a few times. He smirked a little and glanced over at her for a moment, then away. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and started scrolling through his Twitter feed in boredom. (WB, sorry >A<;)

He sighed as he sat on the couch infront of the TV. He got the text from Brooklyn then texted her back, saying how he'd be there soon. Nick got up and left the house, quickly walking down the sidewalk and over to brooklyns

While getting a sip of her coffee, and scrolling down some random Simple Plan and Linkin Park posts on tumblr, Skylar occasionaly got to glance up towards the boy - or guy, whatever was preferred. And then he smirked and glanced at her; the only thing the girl could think about was 'what is so funny that he is smirking, is it me?' and of course, being those the first words that appeared in her mind she had to blurt them out. It happened sometimes when she wasn't rambling in her thoughts and she would just begin to repeat everything that she could get into her head. "What is so funny that you're smirking at me?" Sky snapped at him, and then realized that her voice must not have been pretty. Repeating it in her head, she mentally face palmed herself... but who cared anyway. Staring and smirking at a stranger was rude - or at least, by Sky's standards.

Luke jumped, startled, when he heard a female's voice suddenly snap at him - and he knew this was directed towards him because they mentioned him smirking at her. His bright, cobalt blue eyes flicked back up from the screen and in the direction the voice had been coming from - over to the teenage girl sitting alone, as he had predicted it came from. He blinked, surprised at the girl's reaction. He bit his lip as a sheepish expression fell over his face - he hadn't even realized she had noticed he was looking at her for that brief moment. "Uh...nothing. Sorry," he mumbled slowly, though sincerity was in his tone, as he started rubbing the back of his neck a bit. He glanced down, mentally slapping himself for even looking in her direction, now. He hadn't meant to upset her or anything, and he actually hadn't completely known he was smirking - it was partially just out of habit, and generally people just never mentioned anything to him.

Ash refrained from laughing aloud as the text came through. She couldn't wait to finally see him again. She slid the device into her pocket, not bothering to reply. Sipping her drink, Ash craned her neck, already looking for Michael.

As the guy spoke, slowly and without raising his voice much, Skylar simply stared with a slight frown. He didn't mean any harm? He was just a total stranger that just smirked at her? You paranoid little brat she told herself before her thoughts went over to her father. He usually told her that whenever she questioned a person she'd just met. "No, it's fine, sorry." Sky muttered, suddenly not hungry anymore. Thinking about her father gave her the creeps and she didn't want to have a panic attack in the middle of a coffee shop with the only guy her age she'd spoken to in a long time. With a deep breath, Sky leaned back on to the chair, her green eyes glancing around with uneasyness.

Luke glanced back over at her, seeing the frown on her face before she started to speak. He shook his head a little after she responded, and, in a slightly louder voice than he had, before - though not by much - replied, "Ah, it's alright...really, I am sorry, though. I didn't mean to upset you, or anything." He glanced away for a moment, running a hand through his hair. Glancing back over at her, he bit his lip as he noticed the girl looking around in an uneasy fashion. Great going, you idiot...you creeped her out, he thought as he let out a silent sigh.

It was quite weird how after twenty minutes of getting away from her house, she already got herself in such an awkward situation. How come Skylar couldn't even speak to another person her age without wanting the earth to swallow her? "I am not upset and I am totally fine. I have my bagel." Skylar showed him her uneaten food, wondering to herself what she was even doing. She was completely sure that this couldn't get any worse. The bagel fell back on to her plate when she realeased it, and grabbed a small piece to get it into her mouth. Sky glanced at the guy before setting her gaze again on her hone. "Yeah, don't worry about it, I'm just overdramatic." The girl murmured to herself, pulling a lock of her black hair out of her face.
