Rayne
The blaring of Rayne's alarm clock caused her to jackknife up in the bed. She groaned in frustration as she looked at the alarm clock. 6:15 in the morning. Still grumbling, the blonde headed towards the bathroom. She walked right into the door and jiggled the knob. With a loud bang on the door, she shouted, "Kaiden! Hurry up! Some people here still have to shower!" She leaned outside the doorway, bleary eyed and waiting. She finally looked up when Kaiden stepped out and ruffled her hair. She grumbled something about all men being bastards before she locked the door behind her in the bathroom. She brushed out her hair, stripped and got out of the shower. When she had finished, it was 6:30 and she went to her room to change. She picked out a place pink sweater, light skinny jeans, and her dark brown cowboy boots. She brushed out her hair again and turned on her blow-dryer, beginning to use it for the 20 minutes it took to dry her long, thick hair. When she finished, she brushed it out once again and looked at the shimmering waves falling over her back and shoulders. With a sigh, she twisted it up into a messy bun and tied it off before racing down the stairs. She had about 15 minutes to eat before the bus came. She came downstairs to he brother eating bacon and french toast. "Leave some for me!" She called. She raced back up the stairs and quickly brushed her teeth. She raced back down the stairs, grabbed her book bag and a piece of toast before racing out with her brother to the end of the long drive. She hopped on the yellow bus along with Kaiden and the two sat down in their designated seats, having the bus head off to the school with both of them.
Kaiden
Kaiden had woken before his younger sister by a good 15 minutes. He was in the shower when her banging and shouting had jumped him out of his daze under the steamy water. He had taken an extra five minutes just to anger her and when he had walked out, he had discovered her leaning on a wall. He had smirked down at her words after ruffling her hair like he used to do when they were kids. He walked off to his bedroom, combed down his hair and changed into a pair of worn jeans, a white t-shirt stretched across his chest, and black cowboy boots. He walked down the stairs after brushing his teeth and sat down at the table, loading his plate. His mom and pa were probably out doing some work in the barn or out in the paddock considering the breakfast on the table. He grabbed a mug of coffee and sat down to eat, barely noticing his sisters call. Fifteen minutes later, he and his sister were walking down the long dirt drive towards the bus stop. He climbed on the bus and sat down, heading to the high school and few minutes away.
