I sat back down and Daniel was applauding with a huge smile on his face.
"Thank you so much. My choir teacher doesn't think I'm that great, I've never gotten a solo. But thank you for you kind words."
At that time, the waitress came over with our pizza, we thanked her and each grabbed a slice.

He grinned at Shezza, chewing on a bite of the pizza. "You're choir teacher must be deaf then," he joked after he swallowed. He took another sip of his water. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket and checked it. It was a text from his mother that read: !I heard you and grandma moved towns on us again, baby boy. But don't fret, I'll be stopping by for a visit soon enough."
The message was enough to drain the color of his face. He put his phone on the table and excused himself from the table and went to the restroom.
