Luke smirked a little at the chocolate brown dog - a poodle, it looked like - that the boy was now holding. His eyes wandered over to Max, who was just staring at the unfamiliar dog with a curious tilt of the head, as he said, "Well, it's nice to meet you. That's a pretty cool name, by the way, I don't believe I've ever heard that one, before-" He was cut off by the feeling of his phone vibrating, followed by a very familiar text tone. "Ah, one moment, sorry..." he said, a bit quieter, before glancing down at his phone as he pulled the device out of his pocket. He read the text, then quickly responded, Hey, Sadie! Everything's fine, so far. How is yours? He smiled a little and sent the message before shoving the phone back into his pocket. He glanced over at Minhyuk, again, and leaned against the wall he stood nearby, his arms crossed in a loose, relaxed manner. "That seems to be a pretty lively dog," he replied with a slight chuckle. Max curiously stood up, wagging his fluffy tail, as he approached the boy and the squirming little ball of brown fur. There was a curious, excited look in the pup's eyes, though he made no movements that inferred he would jump on the two, or anything like that. Luke was a bit surprised by the mellow actions of the dog - Max was usually pretty energetic around new people - especially when they had pets with them. Though, he figured the drive to the campus, earlier, was pretty exhausting for the two of them, and thought he was possibly just getting used to his new environment, in addition. Still, he wouldn't be surprised if Max was back to his old self the next morning.

Jane smiled and nodded as a thank you, seeing that Hope had walked away too quickly for her to type anything. She shrugged a little and glanced around, wondering where everyone else was at. She bit her lip and glanced back towards the kitchen - she felt bad not offering to help, but she wasn't the greatest cook in the world, and figured she'd be more of a hindrance than help, in this case. Perhaps it would just be best if she didn't offer - besides, Hope seemed to know what she was doing, at least. She shrugged a little and took a seat on the couch with a small yawn, then glanced down at the phone in her hands. She pulled her earbuds out of her pocket and put them in, then plugged them into her phone. She proceeded to unlock the device, then clicked on the "Google Safari" app, and finally typed in the URL to Youtube. She just randomly searched up videos to watch, occasionally smirking a bit at a humorous moment.
