Confused, Johnny watched as the girl went to type away on her phone, he frowned, not sure how to take that action. But she hadn't walked away... she was just standing and typing, he raised an eyebrow and was about to say something to her when she held the phone up for him to read. His eyes scanned over the screen as he took in the long message she had typed, widening when he read where she stated she was mute. He wasn't exactly sure how to respond after a while, thinking over how much it must suck to not be able to talk... or laugh. "Nah, it's cool, you don't even need to be sorry," he said, running a hand though his fluffy hair, "But wow... I don't want to say it's... ya know... cool or anything, or I would be implying being mute is fun, but what is really cool is how you go about talking still," he beamed, "I mean... if you used sign language I woulda' sat here, staring... looking like an idiot. But the texting thing is really smart," he continued. Hoping he wasn't going to make her text too much... but he found this girl really cool and wanted to tal- er, text-talk some more.

Jane bit her lip, slightly tense, as the boy read the message. It made her slightly nervous when he didn't respond for a moment after that, especially after the reaction of his eyes widening whilst reading her message - presumably, this was when he had gotten to the part where she mentioned she was mute. However, she smiled as she felt a wave of relief wash over her when he responded the way he had. At least he was being pretty nice and understanding about the whole situation, unlike some had been at other schools in the past. She typed back:
Well, thank you for understanding, haha. (: And yeah, it's not exactly the most convenient thing in the world to be mute...or the most fun, but oh well. That's just life, but as long as I have my phone - or at least just my hands - I'm okay. (: And yeah, haha, I wasn't sure if you'd understand sign language, or not, so I decided texting was probably the easiest route to take. But anyway, thank you. (:
She was about to show him the message, but remembered something else she may want to add. She quickly typed:
Oh, I'm Jane, by the way. (: It's nice to meet you!
Satisfied with the message, she finally showed her phone to him, once more.

{ Okay, I was grounded this week PLUS I had to go on vacation somewhere so I had no access whatsoever to a computer. I apologize completely and hope you all can forgive me. Matt gave Cinders one last pat before heading towards the door, turning to make sure the others where following. He leaned against the wall next to the front door, waiting for Hikaru to take them to his place, wondering if he should stop at his place for snacks.

He read over the text again, feeling slightly awkward at going about this. "It's good to see you still have a positive attitude, Jane," he spoke when he was finished, repositioning his back pack, "I'm Jonathan, but you can call me Johnny, it's a pleasure to meet you," he introduced himself, shooting a look at the school entrance everyone was exiting through. "Say, you like dogs?" He asked, "Because I have to go let mine out... he's probably mad he hasn't been out yet," he chuckled quietly... realizing he hadn't let Duke out when he was there earlier, "But just wandering if you want to come along," he offered, wanting to get to know this quiet girl. He had never really noticed her around others... he figured she would probably like some company.

{It's okay Kawii. It happens to me all the time. I was inactive for three days due to a trip to Vermont and New Hampshire, and I went to the world's largest candy counter! They had everything there!}

Hikaru walked toward his dorm. "I'm room number nine" he said, pointing to the door with an elegant black "9" painted on it. Hikaru took off his kitty cat backpack and unclipped a blue key hanging on a black string. "I usually wear it as a necklace." Hikaru explained, sticking the key in the door. The door opened with a very soft creak, and it revealed two beds, each light blue. There was a black fuzzy carpet and a big plush couch with two gaming chairs off to the side. Two desks were all the way on the other side of the room, cluttered with pens and papers. A tv was hung up an a wall in front of the couch. The room was relatively clean, for boys. An Australian Shepard jumped up from a large dog bed and tackled Hikaru in the middle of the hallway. "Hi Sunshine!" Hikaru laughed as the dog licked his face and he scratched its ears. "This is Sunshine!" He said, looking up at Uma and Matthew from the ground.

Uma walked along with them,as they stepped into Teh room,she crouched down"Aw!Shes so cute!" She said,stroking the dog."Thats and amazing name shes got." She complemented.

Hikru nodded and gently nudged Sunshine off of him. Sunshine sniffed Uma and licked her face. Hikaru stood up, and guided Sunshine back into his LA very gently by the collar, making sure he didn't accidentally choke her. He closed the door behind Matthew and Uma. A light grey and white kitten came out of under the bed, meowing loudly. "We're trying to get past separation anxiety." He explained, picking the cat up and stroked its head. "This is Ghost."
