"That's my job," Ay said softly, remembering how he was always the neighborhoods 'bachgen 'n glws' or 'nice boy.' After his mother died, things changed. He sighed a bit shakily, squeezing his eyes shut.

Brielle set the final box on her bed and glanced around her newly furnished room. She wasn't sure how she felt about just picking up and moving, but she assured herself she'd get over it. The new house was white with a wrap-around porch that had one of those cute swinging bench-chairs that she had always liked. It wasn't large or fancy, but it did feel like home. She sighed and exited her room. She made her way down the steps and out the door. She certainly didn't know this town, but she assumed she would figure out some place to go. She began walking aimlessly through the town, hoping to find some means of fun.
