The waitress then asked me what I would like. I just glared at her and ignored her. I looked back at my phone. "Fine then." The waitress said and stormed off. I looked back at Brooklyn. "Soo.." I said boredly.

Jezebelle thought to herself as she silently hoped the girl was into girls. She went to pick up her bags and blushed when she saw that the underwear she bought were scattered around the floor. She quickly scrambled to put the items back in her bag and tried to clear the blush from her cheeks, but to no avail.

An extremely bright pink color took over her cheeks as he put his arm around her. She smiled slightly at him when he mentioned his name. "Th...thats..unique" she managed out awkwardly. She frowned slightly she hated the anxiety, she hated people, she hated being awkward, she hated feeling stupid, she hated life. Her frown deepened when she remembered she had to go to the stupid support group today. She looked up curiously at him and wondered aloud "Why did you help me?" she didn't exactly mean to ask but she was curious and when she realized she had said that aloud her eyes went wide and her hand flew up to cover her mouth.

"Why don't you like it?" he asked curiously tilting his head at her and making a confused expression. He couldn't comprehend why she wouldn't like her name but everyone had there reasons he assumed.

I shrugged with a small smile. "I guess it's just too long?" I didn't really ever think of why I didn't like my name. It was weird, too. I've heard the name Evelyn but not Everlynn. I reach in my pocket and pull out my phone, looking at the time. The mall was about to close since it was getting late.

Oskar continued to walk with Indigo, making the distance from those men longer in physical space, and hopefully, mentally as well. Once again, he didn't have a real place he wanted to end up at, as long as it was better than the place they had just left. When she complimented his name he smiled slightly again and said, "Thanks." He was about to ask her name when she asked him a question, quietly. She seemed embarrassed by asking in such a straightforward way, but Oskar didn't mind. He often grew tired of people playing word games with him, trying to make him guess what they meant. But despite getting right to the point, the question still made him think. Why DID he choose not to mind his own business and let things be? Then the answer was clear. "I wasn't going to just sit and watch as someone was harassed. It makes you just as bad as that person. No one deserves attention from a bunch of sleazy men, no matter who they are."

Tristyn helped the girl up, still smiling apologetically. She was thankful the girl didn't give her an attitude, for she knew most people would get bent out of shape over something like this. The world is all Go, Go, Go; and rarely Slow Down and Look Around. And the people who did Slow Down and Look Around, and kept a good attitude about it, well, those were the people to stick around. As she was getting the girl to her feet, she finally got a good look at her. Wow, she was so pretty! Her hair was on point, too. She was going to say something, then realized that the girl's bag had come open and crouched down to help her get her stuff. When she saw that it was underwear she blushed a little bit, thinking of how it was a whole ordeal for her to buy stuff like that since, well, it was kinda awkward. She'd always try to hide them in a shirt or something. Same thing with bras and stuff for "that time of the month".

Soft morning light filtered through the window, and Caleb rolled away from it, trying to squeeze in some more sleep. He didn't get very far because shortly after, he felt a wet nose nudge his cheek, followed by a tongue on his nose. Caleb yawned and opened his eyes. It was his white shepherd puppy, Baskerville. Despite wanting to lounge around in bed all day, Bas probably needed a walk. As if agreeing with this thought, Baskerville let out a small bark and pawed at him. "Alright, alright," Caleb yawned again, sitting up. Baskerville jumped in his lap, covering his chin with puppy kisses. Fifteen minutes later, Caleb had thrown on some sweats and a hoodie and ran a comb through his messy blonde hair, before clipping Bas to a leash and heading out into the crisp November air.

For most people who weren't colorblind, color were a part of life. But for others, a small few, colors WERE life. Austin was one of these rare people whose senses seemed to overlap-a condition called synaesthesia. But condition isn't the right word for it, because it wasn't detrimental. In fact, it was more like a gift. Sounds triggered spots of color to travel across his vision, like seeing the northern lights right in front of you whenever you heard your favorite song. Letters and numbers also had their own specific color. Like people automatically know the sky is blue, he knew S is blue. Not the sad kind, but blue like your favorite pair of jeans. Comfortable. As with everything, it had its pros and cons. It was beautiful, yet highly distracting. Right now, the sound of the other people outside talking in the background produced a slightly faded orange, like a shirt that’s been washed too many times. The hum of the heater was a gentle yellow with a greenish tinge, like a banana that’s just become ripe.

Austin was distracted from these thoughts as a car alarm went off outside, with a series of repeating red spirals floating in the air around him. He didn't like that shade of red, it was far too bright and hard to look at. It also had a murky brown around the edges, like dirty swamp water. Altogether, it was very unpleasant. Austin screwed his eyes shut, shaking his head, wishing the person would quickly come and turn it off. That was one down side to having his colours. Some colours or patterns would make Austin feel uncomfortable. Luckily, the person came and the annoying sound soon ceased. He looked at the clock. It was 1:20, almost time to go. Austin walked over to his shelves to put his laptop away and put on his shoes. His pale grey kitten mewled at him with her small green voice, wondering where he had went. She was such a sweet little angel, a poor blind kitten who had almost been euthanized because nobody was adopting her once they found out about her conditon. But Austin had quickly fell in love with her, giving her the same amount of love any cat deserved.
