Just them talking pretty much, the warden gave Hapless a note in brail saying he could work or die, basically. Whale, would you mind playing the warden for a few posts? You seem to have a good grasp on his character. ))

The warden blew out thick rings of smoke in his office quickly punching a small calculator with pudgy fingers chewing on the end of a cigar

Cater shrugged " Some days. Yeh, still haven't identified three of the bodies. Other days... I lost my temper. I distorted my life and killed 5 people one of them a little kid. For fun..." He sighed " We all mess up, some more than others."
