He said and turned to look at his roommate again. Might as well learn names. It didn't mean the two of them had to be friend, but it would be nice to know who he was rooming with.

Her gaze moved about the cabin until she saw a guy who looked like he had a lot of energy. She couldn't say that she blamed him. She had a lot of energy, though whether it was good or bad energy was a mystery to her. She moved over to him, her face down shyly, but a smile was there."Um...Hi! She greeted trying to sound bolder than she felt.

She gave a small smile before following him out the door, clutching the leashes in her hands, she jerked forward as kin had instantly spotted the water and tugged on his leash. "Okay okay!!!" She scolded the dog, unclipping his leash and Callie's as they both bolted for the water. Maddie let out a little giggle as she held both the leashes in her hand

He walked onto the dock and switched his gaze back over to Maddie. "So, uh..." he said, "Given it's not too weird a question to ask, right now since we just met and all, where do you live?"
