"Cool." She said with a small smile, and took Chase's hand, beginning to skip for no reason. She hoped they weren't attracting too much attention... She really didn't like being stared at.

Chance - 17 - Single
Chance's eyes widened, his heartbeat quickened, and he almost jerked his hand away before he realized that it was Tara who was holding it. She was the closest shot he had to a friend, so suddenly pulling away like that might give the wrong idea, no matter how much he wanted to. Besides, it wasn't really as bad as he had expected. Her hand was warm, and he kind of liked that. So biting his lip, forcing down his beating heart, and blushing profusely, he stumbled to catch up to her skipping, jogging a bit to keep pace.

Tara blushed a bit when she saw people staring, but continued to skip the short distance to the store. She stopped next to the shopping carts and turned to Chance. "Can we get one?" She asked, referring to the carts like they were puppies. She had always loved shopping carts. They reminded her of shopping with her mother, who always let her sit amongst the groceries like a princess when she was little.

Violett carefully scanned the items on the shelves in the grocery store. She picked up every package on her list and looked at the calories and fat. Violett paused for a second after picking up each item to silently count in her head before putting the item in her cart.

Chance smiled, biting his lip to keep from chuckling at her childish behavior. "Yeah, sure."

Tara smiled brightly, grabbing a cart with her spare hand and walking into the store, still holding Chance's hand. "So, what exactly do we need?" she asked.

Chance glanced at their connected hands and blushed a bit, still not used to any sort of human contact other than his mom, and used his other hand to fumble through his pocket for his phone. Pulling it out, he brought up the text, reading through it. "Um... Looks like milk's first."

Tara nodded, heading twoard where she remembered the dairy section of the store was kept. She saw him glance at their hands, and blushed a bit more. To take her mind off of her shyness, she asked, "Have you ever ridden in a shopping cart?"

Chance - 17 - Single
Chance rolled hit eyes to the ceiling and bit his lip as he always did when he thought. He then slowly nodded. "Yeah, when I was really little my dad used to push my brother and I around in the cart. That was a long time ago though." He left it at that. He hated to admit it, but it was hard for him to talk about his brother and dad. He knew other people had much worse family situations, but his parents divorce had been rough and really shook him up. The doctors actually theorized that it was where his massive anxiety came from was the rough breakup of his family at such a young age. The worst part was not seeing his little brother though. He missed him more than anything. "Um, I think the milk's over there," he said, pointing towards a small section a few feet away.
