I quickly scanned the lunch room. When I finally spotted Luke, I quickly ran over. "I'm sorry! I was busy talking to someone in class, I'm seriously sorry I'm late, Luke!", I said while plopping my self in the seat next to Luke. I started inhaling and exhaling slowly to stop from panting and huffing. "S-so how was G?", I asked.

Having been concentrating on eating her pizza when the hockey player approached the popular table, Sam nearly choked as he told her about Blake. She didn't finish coughing until a moment after he returned to his table. It had probably been a joke; judging by the look on his face.
Sam rolled her eyes. What was it with boys and getting their friends to play stupid jokes? She pulled out her phone, texting, "Hey, what gives Cleo? You coming to lunch or what?"

Luke looked up when he heard the sound of a female voice - Hope's voice, no doubt. He smiled at her as she sat down next to him and shrugged. "It's alright, no need to apologize. Honestly, it's okay," he replied with a small, almost silent, chuckle. At the mention of G, he glanced back down at the ferret in his lap for a moment, then back to Hope. "He was good - he's pretty cool, actually," he responded with a smile.

Rolling her eyes heaven-ward, Raven just shook her head and ran into school, finding her way into the cafeteria. As she walked in, her heart sank, realizing she was back in the place she dreaded most. Cliques sat at their own table, and Raven's table was alone, empty and squeezed into a corner. It wasn't as clean as the other tables, but Raven went to it all the same, head down low, staring at her heavy combat boots hitting the floor. Sitting down, she took a quick glance around and ducked her head again.
