"Well, I imagine Karlie will be excited to see us. My buddy tells me she's been near frantic, searching everywhere." he said, shrugging.

Byakko flinched as she pushed away from her, looking a little hurt. Then she bent down to the little girl, and said, "Commere, Audri." Byakko said, holding out her arms. "Uncle Bryan had a little fall, he had to go to the hospital for a while." she still offered the hug to the little one, whom she felt some form of bond with. she struggled not to cry, as she thought of bryan alone in the hospital. She looked up at Maxine. "We can be there for him, so he won't have to be alone."

Blondie nodded and put her hands down, she could see her breath in the cold air

Byakko hugged her to her. "I hope so, sweetie, i hope so..." she murmured, stroking her hair gently.

Dalyce nodded. "Me too... I'll be glad when it's over. "
