She blushed bright red his voice sending shivers down her spine. "Well I hope it tastes as good as it looks." She kissed his cheek gently. She didn't want to move. She felt so safe and content and happy.

"Im sure it will." He smiled and reached for a sandwhich. "Wish I vould hold you in my arms all the time." He whispered and slowly pulled a little back to begin his meal.

She blushed even more letting her hair fall in her face to hide it. " I wish you could too..." She murmured softly taking a bite out of her sandwhich. Her blues eyes sparkled. Maybe it was ok to trust pwople.

Her soft voice made cayden blush bright red. "Youre so cute!" He squeezed her tightly almost not being able to concealed his happy emotions. He spoke much like a thirteen year old girl with her first love. He had to laugh at the thought of that.

She squeaked as he squeezed her not in a bad way. They were like young teenagers and their first love. Love... She was beginning to truly fall for this man. She closed her eyes in content. She giggled aoftly. "We are like teenagers!"

She watched him, unsettled at his blank expression for a moment, then put in a smile again until it slowly became real once more. "Yeah it is kind of weird, but why think about it? I like to look out the window at the ocean, see the sun on the waves? Makes me think of surfing, and starfish..." She said with a small, happy sigh. She looked back at her 'husband', one hand playing with her ring, and then walked over to the fridge and opened it. "I want ice cream..." She commented, tryi to push her unsettling thoughts about what just happened out of her mind.

He was still frowning but shook his head, trying to look 'normal' again. He stared long and hard at his hands before finally speaking. "I'm not a mistake." He mumbled, frowning.

"Of course you aren't." Gwen replied immediately. She stared at him, before getting up and walking over and crouching next to him. "Look at me." She gently pulled his chin so he had to look at her, "who told you that?" She had a gentleness, but behind it was an anger towards whoever hurt this sweet boy.

He had real tears in his eyes now, he didn't usually cry but for some reasons the way she just...cared, made him seem to realize he was missing something in his life. "I just am. He said that...every night at dinner..." He whispered.

Gwen firmly, but kindly replied. "Well then he is crazy, because that is stupid and wrong." She slowly hugged him, giving him every chance to pull away from the physical contact.

He tensed as she hugged him unexpectedly, she was the only person who hugged him, since a long time ago when his mom was still around. One of his barriers seemed to melt away at the thought and he slumped into slightly from how much he relaxed.
