Going around the corner she went back to her dorm hallway. She leaned against the wall and sighed, this is going to be a long year. She thought

"Ok, see ya!" Archer waved back and looked around. Where on earth was this desk place? He set off down the hall in the opposite direction Adam had gone, in search of it. Eventually, after a few minutes of walking in circles, he found the office. There he was given another copy of his schedule, and what dorm number he was in. Number nine, he read. Then upon further inspection, Archer saw the name of the person he was apparently going to be 'living with' for the next six months or so. He frowned slightly- wasn't Evelyn a girls name? Huh, oh well. He'd see when he got there

I opened the door to the room, then let Alice of the leash. I lay down on my bed staining at the ceiling

She stood up and walked around the building hoping to meet someone else.

After arranging all her things and dumping her bag on the bed she assumed would be hers, Skye walked out into the hall way to explore the school a bit more. There didn't appear to be anyone down there, so she started humming an annoying catchy tune- made up by herself of course. Hands in her blue hoodie pockets, she turned a corner to another bigger hall. Skye gazed to her left, where there were doors, doors, and a few photos

Grace finally decided that sitting around in her dorm was not going to get any more interesting--even with a talkative cockatiel commenting on everything in her ear. So she gently eased the door open, the bird still perched on her shoulder and carefully put one foot into the corridor, then the other. She jumped, startled when she saw another girl at the end of the hall.

Skye stopped humming when she heard the faint sound of a door being opened. She saw another girl-perhaps about her age, not to far away down the hall way. She smiled warmly in greeting as she drew nearer, then let her mind wander again

Grace took a deep breath, commanding her shaking knees to stop, which didn't do much good. Then she carefully held out her hand to the other girl. "Hello. I-I'm Grace." She silently cursed herself for stuttering--something she hadn't done for several months. Alice, her cockatiel, murmured a string of nonesense in her ear.

Grace took a deep breath, commanding her shaking knees to stop, which didn't do much good. Then she carefully held out her hand to the other girl. "Hello. I-I'm Grace." She silently cursed herself for stuttering--something she hadn't done for several months. Alice, her cockatiel, murmured a string of nonesense in her ear.

Skye came to a stop in front of her and took her hand with a smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Skye" She introduced herself. "Who's this?" She asked glancing with interest to the bird on Graces shoulder

Grace smiled back, feeling a bit more confident when she realized that the other girl was friendly. "This is Alice, my cockatiel," Grace answered, stroking the bird's smooth feathers. "She's really friendly, you can pet her if you like." Alice bobbed up and down on Grace's shoulder, screeching, "Hello."
