History:: Damon grew up with his three younger brothers, alcoholic, abusive father, and dead beat mother in Hunts Point, New York. Simply growing up in Hunts Point was hard for Damon because of the dangers and crimes that were constantly taken place. But to make things harder he was always the person taking care of his brothers. At the age of ten, Damon's father walked out on the family which pushed even more responsibility on Damon because he know had to find a way to make money. That's when he met Jonathan, a local drug dealer that mainly worked on Damon's street. Jonathan told Damon that he could help him make enough money to support his family, all he had to do was help him sell his stuff. Without even thinking about the consequences Damon took the opportunity, that was his turning point. Getting in on the drug business also meant joining in the crime rate. Murder, car jacking, robberies, you name it and Damon has done it. He soon gained a reputation in Hunts Point, people knew him as this brutal and violent kid, but they didn't know that, that was just an act. On the inside he was just a scared and hurt child who had to grow up to fast.
At fifteen Damon's mom left with out warning. Since he was under age he was seen unfit to be a guardian for his three younger brothers so Jonathan, who had recently turned 19 at the time took them in. Jonathan's house wasn't the best place to live but Damon didn't care, all he cared about was the fact that he still had his brothers.
Damon grew tougher and stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally because now he really had to protect his brothers. Anyone who messed with them he would handle, no matter what the cost.

Simply growing up in Hunts Point was hard for Carter because of the dangers and crimes that were constantly taken place, but he tried to make the best of it. In his eyes things could be a lot worst for him, he didn't know that things would turn out worst then he could've imagined. Carter was always a happy and outgoing kid who absolutely adored his younger brother Allen, so when his father first decided to start abusing the youngest sibling Carter took a stand. He was only seven when his father started to abuse Allen and at the time he was fearless, he still is to this day, but he didn't realize just how fearful his father could be.
One night when only Allen and Carter were home their father barged through the door a drunken mess, like always, but this time it was different and Carter could tell. He left the small living room and went into his room only to grab something. When he was gone his father decided to take out all his build up anger out on Allen. When Carter heard his brother's cries he rushed to his aid and did the only thing he could think of, attack his dad. After that day he was constantly being hit and abused by his father until he turned nine, and his father left for good.
During that whole experience his older brother Damon signed him up for MMA and self defense classes, he was told that in order to protect himself and Allen he would have to learn how to fight. During those long hours of training Carter began to get in interest in fighting which resulted in tons of school fights. He would have people gamble on each fight that took place and he would use that money to help his brother pay for his lessons.
When Carter was 13 he got arrested and was sent to a juvenile school. While their he sparked an interest in sports. After a year of being their Carter was sent back home only to learn that his mother was no longer there and that the brothers were moving to Jonathan's house. Carter would constantly try to find excuses to not go home when they were at Jonathan's he would even spend nights sleeping on benches or in the subway stations. But he knew he would have to go back eventually because his family was still there.

Damon was walking through the park, the hood of his black sweater was pulled over his head and his hands where shoved into the pockets of his dark jeans. As he was walking he couldn't help but think how different this was compared to where he grew up. But he kind of liked this more. It was more relaxing and overall just a better place. He continued walking until he spotted a girl sitting in a tree. He wasn't usually an out going person, or someone who walked up to strangers and sparked a conversation but for some reason he found himself walking over to the tree. Once he got to the base of it he looked up at the girl, curiosity sparking in his dark brown eyes. Not knowing what to say, he decided to say the first thing that came to mind. "What are you doing up there?"
