I laughed at Peters reaction to the girls number and choked a little on my pizza. I finall swallowed my pizza and shook my head no. "No. Just me and sky, and dad of course. Mom said she wanted more kids, but she doesn't have enough time. And I was supposed to have a twin, fraternal and a boy, and he was born before me, but he was still-born." I said.

"Does she, is it hard for her to be parented by only a father? Of course it would have been worse for you... Since she was so young, I'm sorry I feel like this topic isn't comfortable for you to talk about." I say feeling guilty and take another bite of my pizza

I shook my head. "It's fine. Sky seems ok, she is a real daddy's girl. Well, when he's home. He buries himself in paperwork all of the time, so I'm like her mom, sister, and friend all in one I guess." I took another bite of my pizza, and it didn't burn my mouth this time.

"Awe, I wish I could meet her, she seems like a strong girl" I say and smile

I nodded. "She is. After we're done here, we could go meet her? She is almost done at preschool, anyway." I said, taking another bite of pizza.

"Okay." I say and nod feeling a little bit full after I had devoured two more pieces of pizza, which made three in total. "Do we have to pick her up or does she go by bus?" I ask.

Jacey:

i shook my head. "We have to pick her up." I said, very full after only eating two slices. "So, we can pick her up now, especially since they just got out, like, five minuets ago and dads at work still." I said. "And thank you for this." I said happily.

"Of course." I say and smile paying for the bill and getting a doggie bag to put the rest of the food in "she can have pizza for a snack, once we pick her up" I suggest and walk out the door "we could walk back to your house and get the car, then pick her up....unless her school is close then we can walk." I say

I nodded. "Yeah, the school is, like, three blocks from here." I said, putting my hands into my pockets.
