I shook my head no. "Nope, no no no no... Yes? No. Yeah, no. I'm just awkward around people I think are cute." I blurted. My eyes went wide and I slammed my hands over my mouth, wanting to take it back.

Gabrianna nods and sighs. "Okay." She calls Midnight to her. She puts him on the leash. "Well ummm I better get home.... I don't want to bother you too much and keep you away from your friends."

he shook his head "you don't have to go...your not bothering me" he said looking at her. "and your certainly not keeping me from my friends" he added.

My ears turn a light pink color. Then I feel a sudden wave of confidence, I close the space between us so I am almost ontop of her, but not... "You don't have to hide it, I've already heard it." I say softly wanting to toy with her, but to be honest I had baby butterflies in my stomach too.

My breath caught in my throat when Peter stepped closer to me. I looked up into his eyes. His beautiful, beautiful eyes... "Well, someone's a little cocky." I whispered, the butterflies in my stomach turning into a flock of birds, parading around my stomach.

Pretty girls do that to me I say in my mind then reply "I may be cocky but, I'm cute.... You admitted it yourself" I say and start back towards the pizzeria "lets go, I'm hungry!" I call still walking towards the main road.

I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding until Peter walked away. I shook my head and laughed. "Guys. What are you going to do?" I mumbled, hoping he couldn't hear me. I followed behind him, looking down self consciously, kicking pebbles once in a while.

In a few minutes I smile to myself as I reach the pizza parlor and walk inside making the bells on the door ring. A waitress came up and said welcomely "hello, what can I do for you lovely couple?" "Hi, table for two please?" I say through gritted teeth i wanted to slap her silly we were not a couple but shake it off and follow her into another room and sit down in a booth. I wait so jacey follows.

I followed Peter into the restaurant. "We aren't together." I mumbled to the waitress, feeling self consious.

I scroll down the list of vegetarian options from the menu on the table and start to list them off "Cheese, olives and mushroom, spinach and feta cheese, and mozzarella. which one? Or do you want to forget about pizza because your vegan?" I look at her and smile. I wanted pizza but if she didn't we could just leave, that was fine.
