this is a reopening of an old roleplay i made

"nobody's perfect", it seems like you've heard those words your whole life. yet, when you look around you; you see people who are perfect. they seem to have everything, the beauty, the friends, the popularity, the money, the fame. and you have nothing. but if you were to look closer, you could see that everyone has things that they go through. pain, loss, break-ups, or even just pure sadness. they may seem happy, but they aren't. they cover up everything. every single feeling; every wound. until you see nothing but that fake happiness that is so convincing that it seems as if they have never gone through a hardship in their entire life.

you live in new york. in a small, cozy apartment. maybe alone. or maybe with a simple pet, but you have no family with you. you left them behind to try and get on with your life. you've been here for two or three months and you've decided to go out and meet some actual friends for once and get a job somewhere. who knows, maybe you'll find one? or both. that's half up to you, and half up to fate. just go with the flow.

Literacy ;; this is a high semi-literate roleplay. now; i know that everyone has different definitions of
this so i'll just go ahead and explain mine. at least 6-12 sentences in a chunky, detailed, grammatically correct,
punctuated, paragraph or two, maybe more. i do totally understand writers block, but i do expect at least three sentences with writers block, and please don't use writers block as an excuse all the time! trust me, i get writers block as well so i completely understand, also please do not join if you're not literate enough for this particular role play. i dislike telling people that they cannot join as they don't have the literacy i'm looking for. it wastes my time and makes me seem like a bad person. if you cannot posts to these standards simply just don't join okay? as for the posts during role playing, please try to make your posts at least a little pretty with different colors, lyrics, sized font. refrain from the use of pictures as well as fontmeme as it'd considered spam here on cs c:

Forms ;; you guys will be expected to create your own forms. this will show me not only how creative you are
but how literate you are as well. although if you are crap at creating forms but are literate enough, just shoot
me a pm! i could help you make a form or you could always use mine. forms should have the basics as
well as anything else you would like; but also please list if they have a job somewhere too? and for pictures,
please no anime. i love anime just as much as the next fangirl, but this is a realistic role play, so please refrain from that c:
oh, and if you use another person's form be sure to give them credit!

Spots & Reservations ;; okay, so i don't mind you reserving a spot. but these spots are limited, i will be accepting ten
characters, five male, five female. sounds fair right? if lots of other people try to join i may open more spots, but that is for
me to decide. if you reserve a spot you will have exactly two days (48 hours) from the time you reserve to put up a form, even if
it's wip. if you need that time extended just ask through a pm and i may or may not extend the time depending on reasoning.
if you post a wip you will have one day (24 hours) from the time you post it to be finished unless you ask for extended time.
now, to reserve a spot please ask in a pm, and when you go to join send me your form through a pm just so i can check it
and approve before you post it. i don't want this thread to be filled with unnecessary posts.

Miscellaneous ;; with cursing, don't do it or star out vowels. explicit scenes, (i.e birthing, sex, ect) fade to black.
no inappropriate content whatsoever. and please do not join this role play and never post. your characters should be
completed with high school and not in college or studying in college so they should be between the ages eighteen and twenty two.
please no pregnancies until later on as well as engagements. you don't want to have your character marrying or having a kid
with some one they've known for two months. other than that there's nothing else, but i will add more if needed.

dahliah is a self absorbed person. she's very conceited, and she doesn't take kindly to meeting people. lucie doesn't trust anyone at all, since she had a hard life when she was younger. she always got picked on, and because of her sassy, and her rudeness, a very vile nickname she had in high school was lucifer. she was so used to being called lucifer that she even introduced herself as that being her name on more than one occasions.

although her sassy-ness and heartless act seem to be all of the traits she has, she can be a very sweet and kind person. she's like a hard candy, rough and hard on the outside, but once you get in there's a whole bunch of sweetness and smooth gooey insides. dahliah cares more than she'd like to let on, and despite what it look like, she's a very sensitive girl. she has a lot of emotions that she doesn't let show, and she's very good at hiding them. dahliah isn't one for drama, she absolutely hates it, and she isn't someone you want to bring into your own drama, she will do anything and everything she can to make you regret it. and although she doesn't like drama, she absolutely loves to give advice, and she likes to help people. well, people she likes. if she doesn't like you, don't expect her to help. dahliah isn't one to trust people easily, so if you gain her trust and then some how brake it, she will never, ever forgive you, she definitely does not give second chances. with dahliah, first impressions are everything, if she doesn't like you when she first meets you, there's a good chance that she'll never like you. dahliah, though, is a very good secret keeper, and if you ever need to tell her something personal, you can be sure that she will not speak of it unless you ask her to. she may be sassy, rude, and conceited, but she is very loyal person.

dahliah has been through a lot in her past, and she doesn't tend to talk about it. she isn't open about her past, and it would take a lot to get her to talk about it. she didn't grow up in the best life, and she had it really rough. she was put in foster care as soon as she was born, and she had been in and out of foster homes until the age of fifteen. a lovely lesbian couple adopted her, and she lived with them until she was eighteen when she went off to college. dahliah is a very strong girl considering a lot of what she had to endure during her time in foster care. but she doesn't think about it anymore, and she's moved past it. she considered her being adopted at fifteen a new start, and so far she's happy with how it's gone. she has no contact with her true parents, and she has no idea who they are or why they gave her up, and she truly doesn't care. dahliah claims that it doesn't matter anymore because she's with her true family.

although she doesn't particularly like humans, she loves animals. when she's around them, she's such a care-free, and nice person, like she's completely different. she's a kind and passionate person at heart, and sometimes she doesn't get to show it. dahliah is a very intelligent girl, she is very good with solving problems, well except her own.

meet ashton shane matthews. or as he would tell you to call him, ash. ash was born on a nice july day, july seventh 1994 to be exact, making him twenty years old. he comes from a family of austrailians, but his mom and dad moved to the states before he was born, so he's aussie american, and sadly has no aussie accent. although he wishes he does, and his faux aussie accent kind of sucks. ash is a straight guy, although he doesn't have anything against anyone that's homosexual, pansexual, ect. his best friend is pansexual in fact, and he gets along with her just fine. ash is definitely the outgoing guy who wants to be everyone's friend.
ashton is a very tall, muscular guy. he stands at about 6'1, and weighs about 150 pounds of pure muscle. his hair is dirty blonde and always messy and it's really curly. he usually wraps a bandanna around his hair to keep some of it in place. his figure is very strong and muscular. his skin tone is a sweet golden brown, and his style is usually punk rocker. he loves wearing shirts with lots of holes in it as well.

at times, ash can be very quiet, and definitely observant. he's always paying close attention to what's going on around him. even if he's distracted, he remembers to know what's happening around him. he's very gifted in knowing when a person is no good for him, and when they are, he doesn't like to waste his time on drama and unneeded stress. so he's careful about who he becomes friends with. with ashton, first impressions are everything, if you mess up when you first meet him, and do something that makes him not like you, chances are he doesn't like you at all, and probably never will. he's very picky when it comes to friends because he has been hurt by friends leaving him in the past, and he doesn't want to go through that again. but once you're ashton's friend, he will do anything for you. he's probably the most loyal person you'd meet. he's also very open-minded to new things, and he constantly challenges himself to try new things, and he loves to learn about things. he's very opinionated, but he does make sure that he doesn't let his opinions get in the way of him making friends who's opinions are different than his.

ashton is definitely a joker, he absolutely loves playing pranks and cracking jokes to make people smile. making people laugh and smile is one of his favorite things to do, and it gives him a sense of pride knowing that he's made someone smile, and maybe brightened their day. and if someone is feeling sad, or upset he does whatever he can to cheer them up, he doesn't like seeing people upset so he does what he can to make them at least crack a smile. and he's such an outgoing person, he'll talk to mostly anyone, about anything. making friends is something he loves to do, so he's definitely an outgoing person. and he's a very soft hearted person, and he's over caring. ash constantly worries about friends, and does everything in his power to make sure they are okay. he's a very sweet and kind boy underneath all the silliness and cheeky-ness. he's also quite determined and he will chase after something until he gets it, he's definitely not one to give up easily.

' Hello, my name is Charlie James Hunter, but many people just call me Charlie. You can't really get any nicknames out of Charlie, but when I was younger I used to be called 'Flash' because I would run around everywhere and always be full of energy. That nickname sort of disappeared when I was about 14, expect recently my mother told some of my friends and now they insist on calling me that. My mum named me Charlie because she heard the name when she was alot younger and chose the name James because her best friend when she was younger was called James, but I think he passed away in some sort of awful accident. I dont really like to ask her about it. Hunter is my dad's surname, but I haven't seen him in years after he left my mum for that bimbo so I have been heavily contemplating whether to change it to my mothers surname, which is Davies. I have one younger brother, Danny. I was born in St Auburns hospital on the 10th of October, 18 years ago. If I was to have a label, I would probably say I am a trouble maker, or just an outcast really. I blame my awful behaviour on my father, but I know that is no real excuse. I think I look good, I'm not sure really. I mean, I've been with plenty of girls who have all said I'm attractive, so I hope they are not lying. I weigh a healthy 12 stone and a bit and I stand at a height of six foot two. I have short brown hair that flicks up at my fringe, but most of the time in the morning I flick up the fringe with my straighteners. My eyes are like a browny- grey kinda colour, and apparently I have really long eyelashes. I am of American nationality, but sometimes I wish I was from somewhere cooler.
