Ruby awoke grudgingly. Her alarm was blaring in her ear. She sat up with a bolt "oh [censored]! I'm late!" jumping out of bed she threw off her night shirt and grabbed some clothes to throw on. Grabbing Julius's jacket she shrugged it on and ran out the door in a hurry.Ruby sighed in relief that she had made it to class on time. now that she was out she texted Julius ' hey so I woke up late but I made it to class on time about to eat lunch. So how was your day? better than mine I hope?'

Thinking of Julius as a dad made her smile at least she knew that when the time came to it that he would be a good one... she shook her head again ridding herself of the image she had to wait at least till she was out of college and she wasn't going to make it if she kept over sleeping her classes.tonight don't be texting me ok? you need to sleep. and ... good luck at your job...

The professor looked at his watch and checked how long they had until students started to arrive "We have twenty minutes before my other students start to arrive" He mumbled as he looked down at his paper, picking up a study guide for Maggie
