she rolled her eyes. "i don't know why your miserable, im asking you." she said. she knew what he meant but now she was just being smart with him.

He rolled his eyes. "Oh buzz off." He snapped.

"fine. if you really want me to. then you can suffer in silence and you won't have anyone to talk to." alaska said cheekily.

He kept walking. "I've done it my whole life I think I can survive a day more."

her smiled faded and she stopped walking beside him. she grabbed his arm lightly, turning him to face her. "just tell me what's wrong."

He didn't like being touched and smacked her hand off. "No." He said stubbornly, then hesitated. "Why?"

"because now i'm gonna go home and wonder about it. it will be stuck in my head and i just want to know why you're upset. you don't seem like the type to get that way." she replied.

He became even more defensive at this and got in her face. "Well you don't know me." He said and turned to walk away again, hugging himself.

i closed my eyes as he got in my face. i waited for a few seconds. "fine." i said very quietly, turning around and walking back to my house.

He glanced back and quickly sped up, turning into an alley and disappearing.
