(k) Katie looks at her, crossing her legs. She sad Indian styled on the ground. "Yah know.. I might get back into modeling. It was really fun." She shrugs. "Dont even know why I quit.." She murmurs, looking at the ground. She knew exactly why she quit, she wasnt about to go blurting it to everyone.

alaska glanced in katie's direction, raising an eyebrow. "so why did you quit?" she asked curiously, but this was the only time she would ask. she wouldn't pester her about it and let her lead her on. alaska waited for a reply as she took out her iphone and checked the time - it was 7:05, there was fifty-five minutes until the party started. even if jesse and katie objected the invitation, she would still go anyways. she needed to get her mind off some things. the girl briefly saw her reflection in the glass of the screen on the phone. her blonde hair was down, and she was wearing a little makeup to cover the scar on her face and the lightest brush of mascara on her eyelashes. the reflection did not satisfy her and made her feel worse than before. she put her phone back down, looking at jesse, then katie.

Katie shrugs. "I dunno.." She lies again, her soft hazel eyes were staring at the ground, her hair draped around her face. She had a beanie on, with skinny jeans and a "Stay Classic" gray crop top on. She didnt really think she looked like a model, but Maddie had convinced her to become one. Maddie.. The name hit her hard, she felt like her heart had been cut in two. She closes her eyes, taking a deep shaky breath.

alaska rolled her eyes, not intentionally trying to be rude. it kinda just happened. "whatever." she said, playing with the silver bracelet on her left arm. she bit her lip and looked between katie and jesse again. "so, um, there's this party tonight at my friends...piper? i don't think you know her, katie. but jesse's met her." i say. "but yeah, you guys wanna come? it's gonna be fun! pleeeaaasse?" she already begged, knowing jesse and katie they would almost immediately reject the idea. maybe not so much jesse, but katie for sure.

"Sure." Katie says, shrugging."It'll get me out of being a loner." She mutters, she kinda figured Alaska didnt like her, so she was surprised when she invited her.. Maybe she thinks Im jealous? She thinks, sighing a little. Because Im not.. She reassures herself, taking a deep breath.

alaska was surprised when katie accepted without putting up a fight first. "okay, yay!" she said with a little smile. her house was right next door to katie's, so she could be there and back in literally five seconds. "well, the party starts at eight, it's seven fifteen right now." she said, standing up. "i'm gonna go get ready, i'll be back soon." she said with a smile. she unlocked the door and went inside, going upstairs and changing into this dress and shoes, (no purse). she knew how to walk in heels fairly well, surprisingly, because alaska's go to shoes were probably either flats, converse, or vans. she curled her very very lightly hair and put on some more, nighttime makeup. the reason why she was so 'fancy' was because piper was the host...but it was at this club. so everyone would kinda be dressed like this. she went outside and walked back over to katie's house, in front of her and jesse. "what do you think?" alaska asked quietly, smiling sheepishly.

She nods, not saying anything before she goes inside her own house, not looking at Maddies room. She sighs, choking back tears as she goes into her closet. It was full of the clothes she used to model in. She bites her lip, picking a dress and heels. ( Dress: ) She didn't know if it was fancy enough, it was probably the most casual dress she had. It made her brown hair and eyes stand out, which was why she liked it. She used eye liner to make a cat eye, putting mascara on. She does her hair a little in the mirror, walking back outside. She doesnt say a word, just standing there. She felt distant now, from the world..

Jesse

He was the one at looked away. "I've never been good at parties...well maybe because I haven't been to one in years. It's...iut of place for me...but if you want me to Alaska I'll go, but I'm just sticking with you." He said with a small grin, looking between the two. He was honestly very tired but didn't let it show, he'd get over it. He watched Alaska leave then come back, actually both girls did, and smiled. "You both look amazing." He said honestly.

Katie just glances at him. Ever since she came back out she seemed upset, staying farther away from everyone.

alaska smiled at jesse. "thank you." she said, before looking up at katie, smiling, before having a total girl moment. "ohmygosh you look soooo cute!" she said, running over to her and admiring the gorgeous red dress. while she was at it, pulling katie's long dark hair over her shoulder to complete the look. "i'ver never seen you in heels before...they really suit you!" alaska said with a grin, before checking the time once more. "okay, well, it's seven fourty-five. we have fifteen minutes, it's not really that far away." she said.
