seeing him cry was the worst thing ever. i couldn't bare it. i stepped closer to him, wrapping my arms around him gently, hugging him, being careful because of his ribs. my head rested on his shoulder. "i love you jesse." i whispered quietly, tear stained cheeks.

Katie was walking away, he'd probably be happy soon. They'd go back to their normal life's and forget this all happened. Katie would be the loner she usually is again. She was at the sidewalk infront of the ally already.

Jesse

He took another ragged breath, his shoulders very slowly relaxing until finally he hugged her back, his head on her shoulder. "I didn't know what to do..." He murmured, then heard footsteps and looked up through reddened eyes. "Katie..." His voice was husky from crying but he didn't want her to leave either.

Katie looks back at him, giving a forced smile. "You and Alaska are back.. And I guess you're happy now.. So I was gonna go."

his touch sent chills down my spine, good chills. i kinda smile a little bit, before craning my neck to look at katie. i didn't want to let go of him. "that doesn't mean you have to leave." i say to her.

Jesse

His ribs ached from his 'busy' day of walking around so much but he ignored it, nodding agreement with Alaska.

Katie shrugs. "Well. I kinda ruin everything. Like I did this moment.. So I was gonna leave you alone." She says, her face was still full of smeared paint.

Jesse

He frowned. "Why do you think that? You think trying to help me was ruining things?"

i stepped back from the hug and beside jesse so we could talk to her normally. i still held his hand though. "please don't leave katie." i say, shaking my head.

Katie sighs. "Well, I kinda made you more upset.. Until the last part." She murmurs. Maddie was at home, trying on all her new clothes from the mall. Katie looks at Alaska, biting her lip. She didn't know weather to go or not.
