Kat pays, taking her drink and sitting down. She dips at her coffee, looking at her phone.

He watched her sit down then leaned back against the counter, the early morning rush finally slowing down.

She buries her head in her hands and sighs. It seemed like nothing was going her way today.

Renee laid at home.

She says something out loud, not to anyone in particular. "Don't you hate when things don't go your way?" She asks, sighing.

He let out a laugh when he heard her, it was so true, then realized that was probably rude and quickly busied himself cleaning the counter.

She looks over at him. "I was kinda expecting that." She laughs a little.

He looked back up at her with a grin. "Sorry it's just...that's so accurate for my day right now." He said, frowning slightly when he thought of Renee alone back at the apartment.

She shrugs. "It's basically how my life is." She sighs a little. When she was on her phone she was reading all the hate comments. "But. I never know how I manage through it." She laughs a little more.
