I smiled "Let's do it!" I took her hand in mine hoping she wouldn't notice my rush of sudden happiness. I thought for a moment about what she might like, not wanting to cause her any stress. I pondered the lego one and decided to try. We walked over to the lego ride, it was pretty fast and showed you around the park, but at random spots it would go through water and get you soaked. I pointed over to it with my free hand, not wanting to ever let go of her hand "How bout this one? I've tried it and it's just a calm ride that shows you around the park and gets you soaked"

I really needed to get out of the habit of referring to all my friends as ' sweetie'. I watched her and nodded, my excitement and happiness getting progressive until i made the bold move of kissing her on the cheek, yet another thing i needed to get a handle on.
