While her dad moved to another town (the one near the high school). Until this year, she had lived with her mother, but now she's with her father... She will be the new girl at the school, a curiousity.

As Caleb listened to the details of the upcoming project he was happy to hear that it was something that involved design, and the fact that it was a partner project. Collabs were so much more fun. So when Collin asked to work together, Caleb smiled and said "Sure." He then reached in his jeans front pocket and took out his phone. Unlocking it, he went to his pictures and opened up one to show Collin. "Oh by the way, I actually have a cat of my own. His name's Jasper." He turned the phone so Collin could see. The cat was black with yellow-green eyes and white paws, like he was wearing snowboots. He was looking at a catnip mouse he had "hunted" and "trapped" under his paws.

He leans a little closer to inspect the photo on the bright screen, persistent smile stretching to ridiculous levels.
"He's pretty." Collin observes quietly, shuffling himself and his chair a little closer to the latter. "You guys have similar eyes. Not really spot on colour, but the same shape." he muses. As per usual, he typically could only remembers one's face if it resembled a cat of any sort. Arguably, a bad habit, which wasn't entirely disliked by most.
"I have 7; they got kittens over the summer." he continues, resuming the position of cheek on palm. "Pops doesn't like them though, so I'll probably be selling. Silly dad." he laughs weakly, leaning back to retrieve his sketchbook which had been left on his table.

Flipping it open on his lap, he digs into his pocket and pulls out a blunt pencil. Logo design; he did a similar activity last year, except they worked solo. Collin had handed it something feline-related; what else would he do?
"There's Delta, Lapis, Hydra." Spontaneously, he begins listing off the names of his cats. "Krys, Terra and Rein. 4 boys 2 girls." his phone had ran out of battery earlier in the day, so no photos were shown.

Tristyn was also happy to hear the bell. Most people lived for free period, but she found it so boring. So although she hated math, she headed to Algebra II with a good attitude. Who knows, she might get a nice teacher, and maybe meet some cute girls? Another good thing was that the class was on the floor she was already on: 2nd. It wasn't because she was lazy, she just didn't like dealing with the busy stairways.

"Sweet," Aeris said, making the "cool" hand motion, laughing to herself how she just made them friends whether he liked it or not. And he did, which made it so many times better. "A Brit crossed with an Aussie, huh. That's a sick combo. I wish I had an accent, but I was born in Ohio. But I guess if I went to either f those places, they would say I have an American accent. Which is not as cool, but eh."

Caleb smiled, "Jasper says meow. Loosely translated to 'thanks, man!'" He then paused for a moment, thinking about the comparison Collin made. "Huh. Never really noticed that before. They do say pets are like their owners." He then raised his eyebrows when he listed his cats. "Wow! Full house, it seems. I like the names you chose, they're very unique. I've always wanted to have a lot of pets, but then you have to have a-lot-pets-money and a-lot-of-pets space. I hope you get to keep them, I can tell you really love them."

It was like expecting to get a drop of cold water out of the faucet but getting a full blast of scalding hot water. So naturally, he jumped a bit, partly because of how fast it was coming out and partly because of the actual content. He almost didn't know what to say, since he didn't want to say something wrong and make her even more upset. "I'm sorry," he said, "That's terrible, I know how rough it is to lose someone so close, a family member. Especially when you're still young." Suddenly a suppressed memory came surging back. A late night. His father behind the wheel. A flash of blinding light. The sound of tearing metal. Blood. So much blood. He shuddered then saw that she was crying. His gaze softened. "Why don't we step outside for a moment? So we can talk without other people eavesdropping."

Landon smiled, returning the same hand motion. "Haha, I sup'ose. Ohio's cool too, thou'h. Heard it was pret'y. No! Some'imes I hate my accent." Landon shrugged.

Aeris looked dramatically in the distance. "If I learned anything from global, Australia was a British colony at first. So they've got history." She looked back at him and frowned slightly. "It's weird. They always talk about, like, Europe and Asia and places like that, but not Australia. As a kid I didn't even know Australia EXISTED until I watched The Crocodile Hunter" She sighed. "Man, I loved that guy. And Ohio's alright, but it's not like, a super interesting place like New York or California, that tourists tend to visit." She then made a pouty face. "But it's so cool! I like things like that, that makes someone stand out. Like when everyone's grey and you're neon rainbow plaid." She realized that was a strange analogy but oh well.

Oskar started to go the front entrance, but he didn't feel like having to explain to the security guards why he was leaving school early. He considered going to the back entrance but no one really used that one and it was pretty isolated, which is why he went there to smoke. He decided to go to one of the side doors that lead into the handball courts. There would be a few people there, but they'd be too busy playing to notice the two come outside to sit and talk.

Alycia walked with a black hoodie, covering her face and hair to humanity. She was new, and would be the curiousity, and possibly a freak. She tugged her hoodie off gently when she reached the front office, where she had to get a guide of the school and which classes she would be in, thanking the women behind the counter after several boring minutes, she collectd the unfamiliar paperwork and walked back outside, forgetting about her hoodie.
