Derek rubbed it softly and set her in his lap

He wandered around, outside of the town. He sighed softly "I wish the towns people knew that I only want to help them...so what if I don't have full royal blood I'm still a prince...I'm just glad peter didn't see anything worse than the old man hitting my hand...he won't react well knowing that I get treated like a pile of trash and get kicked around if I'm not careful...one day though...one day I'll make sure they will be well taken care of even after all the things they have done to me..." He murmured to himself

Peter finished up around town and waited a couple more hours before going to the lake/meadow

Derek smiled,"Our times together"

Peter came and smiled at this and kissed his head then sat beside him looking at the water

He stirred when Peter kissed his head. He opened his mismatched eyes and turned into his back staring at the sky "took you long enough" he purred playfully.
