He thought to himself, groaning inwardly. She probably thought he was a total doofus, trying to flirt the way he was. "I mean, if that's okay with you," He attempted to cover up, blushing.

I smiled, slightly blushing. "It would an honor to teach such a computer genius how to play a simple game like chess," I replied. Then it started, the continued battle between my heart and my head. My heart telling me to go for it and my head countering with logical explanations for why I shouldn't even had said hi to Felix in the first place. He's just going to distract you from your school work, your grades will suffer, would you rather be valedictorian or have a chance at a boyfriend, who has the first class rank because I know it's not you, on and on my head makes this list. "Shut up," I whisper quietly to myself. Then I cover my mouth, great now he's going to think I'm crazy. "I didn't mean to say that..," I start but it's no use now.
