Lydia let out a quiet sigh, staring ahead as she rode along the sidewalk on her bike. She shivered a little as she pedaled, glancing up at a passing car. Lydia was one to get chilly easily, especially since she didn't weigh much. You see, the more fat that a person has, the more heat that their body creates, and well, the girl only weighed 114 pounds. Anyway, the point? She was cold. I think I may have a sweater in my bag, she realized. Lydia looked up, and realized that there were no cars nearby, so as she was crossing the street, she glanced down to open up the bag dangling from her handlebars. There were many things in there, but as much as she dug, she couldn't find her grey sweater. She stopped, putting her foot on the ground to stop and look some more. "I know it's in here," she mumbled, rummaging through the contents of the bag. Her head was down, and since the volume on her hearing aids was low, Lydia didn't notice or hear the car that was quickly advancing in her direction. It was coming toward her, and when she saw it, she was too shocked to move. The car was about a yard away now, and Lydia was frozen like a deer in the headlights. She could hear it honking, but all she could do was stare. ♦Connor Worthy♦

Connor nodded slowly, examining the girl. "Sorry, uh, again," he said, running a hand through his hair. All he wanted to do was walk away, but he knew that was much too rude. She seemed like a nice person, Connor just didn't like people in general because he was afraid that they would hurt him. He looked at her with a tiny smile, trying as hard as possible to look sure of himself.
