Lydia let out a quiet sigh, staring ahead as she rode along the sidewalk on her bike. She shivered a little as she pedaled, glancing up at a passing car. Lydia was one to get chilly easily, especially since she didn't weigh much. You see, the more fat that a person has, the more heat that their body creates, and well, the girl only weighed 114 pounds. Anyway, the point? She was cold. I think I may have a sweater in my bag, she realized. Lydia looked up, and realized that there were no cars nearby, so as she was crossing the street, she glanced down to open up the bag dangling from her handlebars. There were many things in there, but as much as she dug, she couldn't find her grey sweater. She stopped, putting her foot on the ground to stop and look some more. "I know it's in here," she mumbled, rummaging through the contents of the bag. Her head was down, and since the volume on her hearing aids was low, Lydia didn't notice or hear the car that was quickly advancing in her direction. It was coming toward her, and when she saw it, she was too shocked to move. The car was about a yard away now, and Lydia was frozen like a deer in the headlights. ♦Connor Worthy ♦

Connor was at the park, sitting on a swing and watching as children ran around playing tag. He was in somewhat of a good mood, seeing as he didn't have to interact with any people his age. He was a very shy and anti-social person, and the playground was one of the only places where he could get out without actually getting out. The boy sighed, pulling his phone out of his back pocket and scrolling through his social media. There wasn't much in his news feed because he only had a few friends, but at least it was something to pass the time. Still looking down at his phone, Connor pushed himself off of the swing and began to slowly walk down the sidewalk. Suddenly, he felt himself bump into a smaller figure. He looked up, and his cheeks went scarlet as he realized it was a girl. "Oh, s-sorry," he said, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly as his gaze fell to the ground. Bumping into people was literally the thing he hated the most in this world. He felt his heartbeat quicken, but he tried to remain calm as he glanced at her.
