"of course i care about my grades," colton scoffed. they walked the next few steps in silence. to be honest, he didn't feel like going to class anymore, and having to face mrs curry. "how about we just ditch school altogether? maybe ill decide to go to bio again after the old hag leaves."

For a moment, Minnie stayed quiet, her eyes on the mechanical pen in her hand. Derek..right, Keegan mentioned him a couple times and sometimes pointed him out, but she really never paid attention..her nose usually in a book. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Derek."

colton dropped the box of books outside the door of the classroom that he was meant to be in, and continued to walk down the hallway. "well then, let's go." he flashed her a half-grin and made his way out of the school building to the parking lot where his red and black audi r8 was waiting for them. the car was a gift from his parents on his birthday, but he could easily buy one himself with the huge allowance they gave him each week. why don't they just retire or something already? colton liked having the house to himself almost all the time, but it did kinda get lonely sometimes. besides, with the money they already had, it would probably last them for the rest of their lives.

sasha zoned out halfway through the lesson, and began to drum her fingers on the table out of boredom and impatience. her eyes were glued to the clock on the wall beside the door, but every passing second felt like an eternity. when her gaze flickered back to the whiteboard again, it was full of notes that the teacher had written down. her eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets and she scrabbled to get hold of her book and a pen before scribbling it down as quickly as she could.
