Alex turned around, ugh. It was that boy from this morning. Alex just rolled her eyes, gripping a paper bag thatwasan ugly brown color. Huffing a bit, Alex walked up to the line, cutting, she grabbed an apple from the mini salad bar they had.

Kaed sighed and walked after her again. He wanted to know why she seemed upset and unhappy. "Why can't you even crack a smile?" he asked, following her.

Alex looked at Kaed and just scowled. "Why should I?" She muttered, walking off to a totally empty table. She carefully took a fruit salad out of the bag, opening it. Then stabbed at it with her fork before taking a bite.

Kaed opened his mouth to say something, but she had already walked off to an empty table. Why not? he thought to himself as he followed her to the table. Not like he had any friends, anyway. "Why are you so.. uh, grumpy?" he asked, sitting a couple feet away from her. He was rather determined to break her. Once he got curious, there was no pushing him away until you've told him, even if it seemed stubborn.
