Luke sighed, adjusting his skateboard under his arm as he grabbed a tray. On it, he put a slice of pizza, an apple, and a can of Dr. Pepper. He wasn't very hungry, and would probably only drink the Dr. Pepper, but school policy was that you had to buy an entree and a side. After he paid for the food, he turned around to face the lunch tables. All of them were crowded, except for one which was totally empty. "Hey, Luke!" Someone called. Luke whipped around to face them, and recognized his best friend, Calum. "Come sit over here!" He yelled. Luke shrugged, and was about to head toward the table when he realized that he should sit with April. He stopped in his tracks and gave Calum a guilty look before turning back to the empty table. Luke sighed, and his friend nodded, seeming to understand. He advanced toward the empty table and sat down, opening his can of soda and taking a slug.

Pulling a small fruits salad from Wendy's out of a simple brown bag, Alex picked the chicken off the salad and carelessly threw the strips of meat away. Sighing, Alex stabbed her salad with her black plastic fork, her lemon flavored vitamin water sticking out of the, now tipped over paper bag.

Anna listened to his words and sighed, then realized he had an Australian accent. She loved when guys had accents, especially when the are cute. Anna just thought that?
