Vivian Rachel Anderson was born to Robert and Erica Anderson on April 27th. Five years later, she gained a younger brother, also named Robert. Her parents raised them as any normal parents would, encouraging obedience and pushing Vivian to excel, so she would be a role model for their second child. She doesn't like the pressure being placed on her, but she's also aware that as the eldest child, it is her responsibility to watch out for her brother, no matter how annoying he may be.
{Under The Surface}
Sexuality: Bisexual
Crush: That's private.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: None.
Likes: Hot chocolate, playing the violin, running
Dislikes: Crying, calculus problems, slow-moving lines
Fears: Taunting, rejection, devastating hurricanes
Vivian either comes off as pleasant and friendly or cold and distant. This is because she has a few barriers stopping her from placing her trust in people. by the eighth grade, she'd worked out her bisexuality, and was more comfortable for knowing more about who she was. However, it took her two years to finally have the courage to come out to people. first, she cane out to her parents, who were completely accepting, if not fully understanding. However, next she had to come out to her boyfriend at the time, Alan.
Coming out to Alan went less than well. He ended up freaking out completely, being unable to comprehend the idea that his girlfriend also liked girls. The admission turned into a confrontation, which turned into a full-blown argument, which led to them breaking up immediately. Though she won't admit it, a lot of what Alan said hurt her, and she's been cautious and guarded about both relationships and her sexuality ever since. Although she moved on from Alan and his misconceptions a long time ago, she's been mistrusting of relationships ever since. She's become a very defensive person, and tries to shut people out if they get too close. But if someone is able to get through to her, they'll find a gentle and caring person waiting on the other end. Vivian loves her friends wholeheartedly, but she's constantly afraid of losing them.
She has played the violin for ten years, and has taken regular lessons twice a week, every week after her seventh birthday, except for when her appendix was removed at age twelve.
