Her heels clicked on the pavement of the walkway as she proceeded around the house. She must have come around the back, because she turned a corner and discovered a pool illuminated with a few artificial lights with a few chairs around it. Though the pool looked invitingly cool, the chairs were what really mattered to her; there hadn't really been any place to sit in the ballroom. She made a beeline for the nearest one and sat down in it, slipping her feet out of her high heels as an afterthought. She set her feet down on the concrete, folding her hands in her lap and leaning forwards on her elbows, lost in thought as she looked at the shivering lights in the pool.

[She sort of left the ball to take a quick walk. Should someone come get her or should she go back herself?]

Vicky listened to him talk and her eyes got a little wide when he said he couldn't dance. "Oh I could always teach you to dance and why thank you."
She didn't wait for answer as she grabbed his wrist and dragged him onto the dance floor but making sure not to be under the chandelier.
"Let see first the waltz your mostly doing a box here let me show you," She said. She lifted up her dress so her heels could be see better. "This will be the man's part," She replied as she stepped front with her left foot then step forward and side with her right foot. She then slid her left foot to her right foot. She stepped with her right then side with left then slid her right to her left. Finally while doing this she she to do a quarter of a turn ever half of the steps. "
So that the basics of the waltz now you try," she replied a bit excited to see if she taught him right but her mouth was still straight.

"Wait!" he said as he was pulled onto the dance floor by Victoria, but it was too late. Okay, he thought. Dancing. Waltzing. Well, how hard could it be, really?
He mapped out the steps in his mind as she did them, counting in his head one-two-three, one-two-three, one-two-three.
"Okay," he said, stepping slowly as he tried to count the music. Left, right, left in. Turn a bit. Right, left, right-in.
"How'd I do?"

Rev was a bit shocked by the announcement then looked around. He saw Rusty which talked with earlier then smiled as he walked over. "May I have a dance?" he asked as he bowed and tipped his hat.
