Looking around, I decide it's time for me to make the first move. Its getting boring and I'd like to make a few new people before its too late. As I look I see a small girl walk back into the ball room by herself. She stayed near the wall just observing everyone and everything around her. Might as well, I sigh heading over. "Hello, I'm Axel. Have you observed anyone interesting yet?" I ask leaning on the wall next to her. My black suit and dark green tie blending in with the shadow the pillar next to us made.

just dandy. reese aggravated her piercing with the small thought; turning slightly to speak. just because i'm small doesn't mean I have a small brain, "not at all." she folded her hands behind her back; hiding the amusement that she honestly felt. most people underestimated her sophistication and level of education, being mostly blonde at all; denying it with a falted tone.

Carina raised an eyebrow. "Nope." she said, a slight smirk on her face. She was determined to make a friend of him, wether or not he liked it.

He smirks at her persistence when a small woman dressed in expensive-looking clothes bursts in. She is red-faces as her sky-high heels click across the floor. She huffs as she begins speaking, "Alright, we are going to let one newscaster in. Please everyone find someone to dance with, just for one song? Let's not have this ball look like a bunch of teenagers standing around, shall we?"

Carina involuntarily grabbed Colton's hand when the announcement came, ignoring the one dance per partner rule. A small smirk played at the corners of her mouth.

Carina couldn't help but let out a small laugh at Colton's grumbling. "At least smile a little." she said seriously. There was a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

I look around and decide to go talk to someone. Walking up to a random person I introduce myself. "Hello, I'm Carlo Giovanni. Would you like to dance?" I simply say.

I look around as Carina takes Colton to the dance floor and smirk. Ah shoot, I'm left alone. "Wait!" I run up to them. "Who will dance with me?"

"No luck, eh? Neither did I. Everyone seems scary to talk to." I slightly joke. "You seemed like the only sane person here." Looking over as the news lady bursts in I turn towards her. "I'm not much of a dancer but would you like to dance?

reese bit at her bottom lip, "i have to go." she nodded her dismissal towards axel before disappearing through the entry way she came through, not minding to answer his question. there is no way i'm dancing. for several reasons she wouldn't; humiliation, and for the larger fact that she didn't know how. the lady can have one lesser, besides, who would notice? everyone notices the royals anyways. reese thought of several excuses on her way down the hall, the shorter dress enabling her to have a swifter pace, rounding the corner towards the gallery where she last was. this should only take - five minutes max. "at least I hope so," she murmured the last part under her breath, traveling towards the back of the hall way to go unnoticed.
