Joel dropped his large dufflebag as the taxi pulled away. He sighed, thinking the size of this place was ridiculous. he picked it back up again and walked in the front door. He looked back and forth and almost dropped his bag again. "what the..?" he looked around, no one was in the main entryway, so for a second it felt like he was all alone. but he looked around for the bedroom he was assigned.

"Let's just hope no one under it I heard stories about chandeliers killing people. Of course it was set up since a younger brother wanted to be next in line," Vicky said as she started to recall the story she was told a young age. For a while she was so afraid that one would fall on her she wouldn't even go in a room if there was a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. She of course was trained that out of her since most ball rooms have chandeliers. A princess may never so her emotions and not be afraid of a silly chandelier. She was forced to do her lessons under a chandelier for months until she didn't mind being under one. She shook off the memory then asked," So are you enjoying yourself?"

"Yeah, that would be pret-ty catastrophic," he said, stretching out the word pretty a little. He wasn't actually going to knock it down, of course. That would be disastrous, people would be hospitalized if not crushed- Stop it, Charlie, he told himself. It won't happen unless it does come crashing down.
He noticed that Victoria seemed a little lost in thought, but she didn't seem to be too bothered, and asked him a question.
"Am I enjoying myself? Well...." He glanced around. "I've never really been to a shindig as fancy as one of these. It's pretty formal, and there's apparently dancing involved, which I can't do." He grinned sheepishly. "But the people seem okay, and the royalty can't be too bad if they're all as friendly as you."

Her heels clicked on the pavement of the walkway as she proceeded around the house. She must have come around the back, because she turned a corner and discovered a pool illuminated with a few artificial lights with a few chairs around it. Though the pool looked invitingly cool, the chairs were what really mattered to her; there hadn't really been any place to sit in the ballroom. She made a beeline for the nearest one and sat down in it, slipping her feet out of her high heels as an afterthought. She set her feet down on the concrete, folding her hands in her lap and leaning forwards on her elbows, lost in thought as she looked at the shivering lights in the pool.

Realizing that I was completely underdressed, I looked around, hoping there would be someone who was dressed similar to me. Seeing that there were none, I sighed and stood by a window, just staring outside. I wasn't into things like balls or parties.

"Let see first the waltz your mostly doing a box here let me show you," She said. She lifted up her dress so her heels could be see better. "This will be the man's part," She replied as she stepped front with her left foot then step forward and side with her right foot. She then slid her left foot to her right foot. She stepped with her right then side with left then slid her right to her left. Finally while doing this she she to do a quarter of a turn ever half of the steps. "
So that the basics of the waltz now you try," she replied a bit excited to see if she taught him right but her mouth was still straight.
