She looked at him. "I could help you if you'd like.", she said, looking up at him. Her phone went off, her ringtone being the cookie monster ranting about cookies. Her eyes widened. "One minute...", she said, unlinking her arm from his and walked away a couple feet, answering her phone. "What do you want Chris?", she snapped, standing with her hip jutting out to the side. "I don't care.... maybe..."

Kayla nodded at him with a brightened smile on her face. "Aww, that's okay. Would you like to go to the fireworks tonight? Everyone is supposed to be going, but if I go I'll be alone. Why don't you come with me?," she asked him curiously. She looked at him in the eye and then back at his paper curious.

Kayla smiled as she stood up handing her plate to a waiter standing there. She handed him the plate and waited for him to come along. "Come on. We better get going they may start soon.," she replied to him as she waited for him.

He patiently waits for her to end her phone call. She seems very annoyed. He opens his mouth to speak, but closes it, not wanting to interupt.

"No, can't you leave me alone? Chris, i don't care.... oh well coodles for you! Yeah? Well so have i... yeah sure, here...", she said and pulled the phone away from her head, covering the receiver with her hand. She looked up at Colton, her gaze pleading. "Can you just... pretend to be my boyfriend? For like, thirty seconds?"
