Violet heard her name called and walked down the hall, and put her hand on the door handle. She tugged a few last adjustments on her black dress before turning the handle and walking in.
Violet had to try very hard to keep her mouth from dropping open, the boy was gorgeous. His hair was absolutely perfect and for a second all she could think about was how incredibly adorable their children would be. When they eventually had them, which would be in a very, very long time. She almost literally face palmed but then she remembered he was still right there, "H-Hi." She said, nervously.

On the other side of the doors stood a girl nothing short of beautiful. With brilliant blonde hair and a dress that contrasted, she looked magnificent. He glanced away quickly, as though he was more interested in admiring the room. She couldn't think that she intrigued him, it might give her hope that things will work out. He had to cut off all of his feelings before they had even started to develop. Moments passed in silence as Kevin debated what he wanted to say. Should he greet her like an old friend, with happiness and small hug? Or perhaps like he'd just closed an important business agreement, with a handshake? He finally decided on dropping all of the physical formalities and simply offered his name. "Kevin Thompson. And you are?" She probably already knew his name, but he had failed to learn hers. Just like all of the other royals, he had been given a paper with his partners name on it. But, he had neglected it. He felt that if he ignored the whole issue entirely, it would just disappear. That was not the case.
