Zach grabbed the halter for the colt, and put it around his head. The foal whickered a little defiance, but overall behaved. Zach clicked his tongue a couple of times, as he lead Dímelo out. The young foal followed obediently. Once Clarissa and Zach met in the middle, Dímelo cocked his head at the little filly, before letting out a happy neigh. Impatient, he scraped his front hoof over the floor. The sound made Zach cringe.
"Ok, buddy, alright," he spoke soothingly to the colt. At the sound of his voice, Defying Gravity stuck his head over his stall. Frightened, the colt gave a half rear, and pulled at the lead reign. Confused, the palomino stallion stretched his neck to greet the little fellow. Tentatively, Dímelo drew a little closer, and snorted.
"He's not all that bad, now is he, Dímelo?" he asked, stroking the stuck up mane of the paint colt. To this, the colt snorted, and drew a little closer.
"Hmmm... Perhaps he won't need the filly's company after all..." Zach muttered to himself.

"Okay." Eleanor said to the vet, patting Buster who let out a sigh. She smiled at her handsome stallion, "I should take him to his stall then." She said and led Buster back to his stall, shutting it and getting him a scoop of grain and putting it in his feed bucket before going back out to the arena and thanking the vet, looking at the boy, "Thanks." She said to him, smiling, "Nice horse." She added, seeing his horse.

The vat nodded with a smile before getting in his car and driving away.

He smiled, "no problem. Thank you." He said looking over at his half wild mustang mare.

"How old is she?" Eleanor asked, scratching the horses neck.

"Three, almost." He replied. Then he walked over, giving her a rub on the nose, untying her and walking over, leaving a horse length in between them so it didn't freak her out.

Kat headed out the door of the house and walked down to the stable. On her way she grabbed her cellphone and dialed her sister. The phone rung three times, before finally a click on the other end.
"Hey KitKat." That was the nickname her sister gave her when she was little. She never let anybody else call her that.
"Max, where are you. I thought you said you'd be here by now." she said, now entering the stable. She slowly walked down the stalls and entered a small room. Tack lined the walls. She saw neat saddles, Bridles, pads and blankets. Stirrups and extra straps. It was larger and full of more stuff then the one she had always seen growing up.
Don't worry, I'm almost there. Cor just had a few problems with the trailer. I got him in, but the trouble is gonna be gettin' him out. I'll be there in about ten minutes, maybe five."
"Alright, bye." Kat hung up and pocketed her phone. She leaned against the wall,and winced when something poked at her back. She turned around to see a second strap, missing it's girth. She looked at the saddle, slightly recognizing it. She put her hand on it, smiling as the realization came to her. This saddle was her mother's. It was now Max's, but the girl almost always refused to use it, loving the feel of riding bareback.
