Danielle - "Danielle," I replied, with a small sigh, as I tugged my earbuds out of my ears. "Um. And you are?" I added, somewhat curtly, as I wasn't sure what to say.

Alta smiled and laughed, tucking a strand of her behind her ear. "I'm Alta," she introduced herself. "And yes, before you say it, it's a.... different name, I know," she smirked slightly, watching him crack his knuckles. She cracked her knuckles, too. Even if her mom said it was bad.

Alex nodded and smiled at her. He enjoyed being around Alice. With a push of his foot, he followed Alice towards her house.

"Nate the Great," Nate replied with a grin. He didn't mean to add the "the Great" at the end, but he did it due to his impulsiveness. Once his brain thought of something, it would just magically come out of his mouth without him thinking about it.

Danielle - "Nate...the Great?" I questioned and thought a moment. "Um. Alright, then," I smirked, walking forward as the line moved up.

Luke smiled as Alta copied him. "Alta? I think it's a nice name. Anyway, I should probably put my clothes back on." He said, walking toward the small ladder to the side that led to the pier. He climbed it carefully, and once he got to the top, set the skateboard down and put his shirt back on. "So... were you born here?" Luke asked, realizing immediately what a weird question that was. He mentally face-palmed as he slipped on his black Vans.

Alice pulled her pink board into the garage of her house and propped it up in the corner, inviting Alex to do the same. She opened the door that led inside, and poked her head in so that she could see her mother in the kitchen. "Salve, Mamma! Ho portato un amico, a ha bisogno di vestiti. Egli puo prendere in prestito i vestiti di Sam?" She asked. "Bene!" Her mother replied. "Grazie!" Alice turned to Alex with a smile. "She says that you can borrow some of my brother's clothes. By the way, did I forget to mention that I'm Italian?" She laughed, leading him inside the house and into her brother's room. "There's the closet. Pick out anything." With a wink, Alice closed the door and went into her own room to change.

"Yeah. Sorry, I say stupid things a lot," Nate laughed softly, taking a step forward as the line moved up.

Alta smiled, "Probably." She followed him and climbed the ladder to the top of the Pier. She was a little surprised at his question, but answered it anyways. "Yeah, in Los Angeles," she smiled. "How about you?" she asked as he started putting his shoes back on. She would admit she was happy to be talking to someone.

Alex placed his penny board beside hers. He followed her inside, a little self conscious of himself. I mean, he was shirtless, in a girl's home, with her mom there. It was embarrassing. He blinked as she started talking...what was that... Italian? Well, you learn something new about someone everyday. He smiled as she started talking the language which he knew, American. Alex followed her to her brother's room and stared in the closet. He didn't feel that comfortable. After Alice closed the door, he simply took out a black Vans t-shirt and slipped it on. He kept his swimmer trunks on. He opened the door and waited in the hallway for her to finish changing.

Luke chuckled lightly, surprised that Alta hadn't noticed his accent. "I'm from Sydney. We moved here when I was eight, don't know why." He stood up as he finished putting on his shoes and smiled at her, pulling on his lip ring with his teeth. "Care to join me at the summer festival?" He asked her. He had nothing better to do.

Alice sighed as she finished changing. She'd picked out a white summer dress and a flower crown, hoping that she wasn't too dressy for whatever her and Alex would be doing. She quickly reapplied her eyeliner and some mascara before putting on a pair of high-top Converse and fixing her hair a little. Upon opening the door, she saw Alex standing there awkwardly. "Sorry, I took a long time didn't I?"
