I send a text to my dad. "Can you bring my car to the hospital?" He responds affirmatively.

Emily bit her lip cutely."will I get to meet your daddy?" She said as she still held his hand.

"You might. Depends on if he has a lady friend with him or one of his old buddies."

Emily laughed and nodded. She gently sat up and kissed his cheek.

I smile as I get another message from my dad letting me know my car's out front and he left the keys in my glove compartment. "Well... looks like it'll have to wait another day."

Emily nodded." Someday I will hopefully meet him." She Said. She attempted to reach for her crutches since she felt bad about the carrying thing.
