I took her hand and led her onto the dance floor. "Don't worry, this is the easiest dance possible. Just copy another girl you see." I guided her through the movements. She managed to avoid stepping on my feet. For the most part. I winked at her. "Not too bad."

Hazel
I blushed AGAIN when he winked at me. Why am I such an open book? I grumbled to myself. Oh well, at least I had managed not to trip and kill myself.. yet.

I noticed she seemed embarrassed when I winked at her so I decided to focus on the dance instead of her. "So, what don't I know about you, Hazel?" I figured I might as well get to know her.

I dropped my head letting my hair cover my face. I looked up and headed to get a drink. I avoiding couples dancing and rolled my eyes. Who needs a guy when ou have sports? I tugged on the dress and continued over to get a water.

I smiled. "I am too. I don't live far from here." I sighed trying to think of something to say. "I like hanging out with girls, and I think you're pretty." I looked down, hoping for a good reaction.

"Thanks" I said, I could feel the heat rising to my face. "I live pretty close by... maybe we could hang out sometime?" I nervously chewed on my lower lip.

I grinned. "Sure. Are you usually free on weekends?" There were lots of places we could go around here.

"Uh'huh" she grinned. "My parents usually go places on weekends and most of the time I get left at home."

"Awesome. So you like ice cream? There's that ice cream shop on the corner a few streets down we could go to sometime." I tried to think of something a girl would like to do. It's much harder than it sounds.
