She replies simply, looking over at him, he seemed to be enjoying the show which was good. "Too many good shows these days are cancelled" She felt comforted by him taking her hand.

Xavier shook his head, "It's all so disappointing and stupid. And yes many good shows are canceled." he said in agreement. He continued to watch, all the confusion of everything starting to fade a away second by second. "That guy is in castle right?" he asked a bit surprised. He knew that young face from somewhere. He looked over at ruby briefly and back at the screen.

"Yes, Nathan Fillion is now Richard Castle on Castle. a couple people from firefly have cropped up as guest stars on that show...that show is great at referencing firefly too. Many subtle and not so subtle references. Because they know why geeks like me are watching" She says with a small laugh. "Mark Sheppard who's in just about everything is also in firefly for a couple of episodes" she adds with a smile,

Xavier was surprised at how many famous people were actually in firefly. "I love how you know everything about it." he smiled at her, and then continued watching. As the end started to come on he liked it, a lot. "I can't believe I never watched this sooner!" Xavier said smiling. He looked at ruby, studying her featurs again. Then caught himself staring and looked down at there hands.

"Still not that many people know about it, most people who hear the name Joss Whedon these days think either Avengers or Buffy. I always get excited when big high rating shows mention it, like big bang theory or Castle, because it might just encourage a few more people to check out the show. Still hoping for season 2, or at least serenity 2" She smiles over to him, she's happy she's here, and sharing something she loves with him. She had most of the rest of the whedonverse tv shows and movies, lined up neatly on a shelf in her room at home. She would be more than happy to watch all of them with him.

Xavier looked back at the tv, running over quickly, he out the next DVD in. "Not busy are you? I mean there are only 14 episodes right? Think you could watch them all with me?" Xavier asked. He knew that they would be the couple to have movie nights all the time, have marathons and other geeky things. Play video games together, just as if they were best friends. Xavier remembered her cancer, and knew he still liked her, but he couldn't help but feel as if his world was crumbling. He couldn't lose her, did he just think that? Xavier pushed the thoughts away, and turned his attention back to the beautiful women next to him.

She smiles "I think I can manage that" she says with a smile, they would be the couple that would have movie nights and binge watch sessions, and play video games and have nerf gun wars over who has to make dinner, and she still wanted to do all that. She was scared that she might not be able to win, but she did have something worth fighting long and hard for. Him. Because she loves him, even if she's not quite ready to say it yet.

Xavier smiled as he started the next episode. But he couldn't help but look at ruby most of the time, he knew how sick she could get. But he also knew she would stay just as beautiful. He loved her, and he wasn't going to let her go. He would go to the ends of the earth for her. Xavier moved a little closer to ruby. He promised himself he wouldn't do this until later, after all it hadn't been long since they met. But it felt right. He pushed a strand of hair from her face, leaned in kissing her softly on the lips.

When he leaned in and kissed her, it felt right. A light blush coloured her cheeks. Her first kiss. She knew they had only met yesterday, but she loved him and he made her happy, isn't that what really mattered? Even if they were getting married soon. She breaks the kiss, something she wants to say.

"I love you" She says in a quiet voice.

Damien gave her half a smile and nodded "Okay" He said softly as he looked down at his shoes. He looked back up Tara and locked his eyes on her
