Xavier listened intently, and watched. He nodded, everything was a bit confusing, but he began to get it. "okay then, that makes sense....kind of," he laughed, "But I really like the concept of everything. Wasnt it cancelled? Why is that?" he asked smiling his usual way.

"long version? or Short version?" she asks with a small laugh "Yes it was cancelled, the network wanted another buffy, or angel, not firefly, and some of the statements it was subtly making wasn't in line with the network's point of view so the show was pretty much hated, they constantly switched it's timeslot or didn't air it because games were on, or shoved it in the timeslot of death, they even aired episodes out of order. It was not treated very well while it was on air, It gained cult status after it was cancelled and that doesn't happen very often." She says, the show was awesome and it was sad that it had been treated so horribly. "All there is of firefly is 14 episodes, a movie, a short, and some graphic novels/comics, a board game, and hopefully sometime soon an MMORPG"

Xavier raised his eyebrows as he listened, surprised go they treated a show. He didn't know you could even treat a show horribly. Xavier huffed a little, "Why would they do that! It's so cruel." he sighed shaking his head. So far the show seemed fine to him. He liked it actually, so why would they cancel it? Xavier wished he could walk into the people who own the show and program and just tell them off. He sighed again calming down. To his surprise he was calmed by her hand in his. He didn't even know he had taken rubys in his hand. He smiled to himself and continued watching the show.

"Because they didn't like it and wanted it to fail, politics... to be fair on the politics front, one of Joss' other shows, Dollhouse is probably worse. and that got cancelled. twice." Emily sighed. She just walked away. She went and sat in a spare room. She took some deep breaths and sighed. She understood them messing around but they were at wedding and it was hers too.
