"So..." Penelope said, sensing Lexa's awkwardness. "How are you liking it here so far?"

Lexa looked over at Penelope as she asked her how she was liking school so far, "um, it's alright I guess, though I haven't really been here long enough to tell, how about you?" she replied.

"I love it here, I'v been coming for years," Penelope said, finally on a topic that she could talk about. "It's like a second home to me."

Lexa smiled and nodded, "so about how many people come here exactly?" she asked, hoping that she would reply with not many.

"Not very many, theres only ten people in our year." Penelope said.

Lexa smiled as soon as she replied with what she was hoping for, "oh great! I'm not really the best with people..." she admitted.

"I wasn't very social before I came here," Penelope said with a small smile. "But now I'm alot better at talking to people."

Lexa nodded, hoping that she would end up the same way after a little while.
