I smiled and said, "Nice name." I played with the ends of my long brown hair. "So what brings you to the pool?"

I thought that relaxing in the water might help, so I got a float ring and headed for the pool. Still moping I got in the water and sat in the ring.

"Thanks," I pushed a hand through my wild black hair, trying to tame it a little. "I was just bored," I replied, watching her play with the tips of her hair.

"There all yours," I joked. I loved my dogs a lot, but they could really be a hassle sometimes.

I couldn't help but start crying again. I dove down to get my phone, to see if it was still working. It wasn't. I screamed, "WHY DOES EVERTHING HAVE TO GO WRONG!!!!!!"
