I got up and went to my room. I locked the doors and buried my face in the pillows. I slept for 30 minutes, woke up and refreshened again. I took my ipod with me. I went out and sat at my old spot. I ran my fingers through my brunette hair making it look wavy. I put the ear plugs into my ears and listen to Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift.

After a three hour long lecture from her father about not being a hermit cooped up in the apartment all day long, Wisteria Rey was finally in California on the beach just as her father wished. She really did not like traveling or being in strange new places, but hey, her old man was rarely home so why not make him happy for a bit?

Wisty had already piled her stuff into one of the rooms assigned to her. Now, all she wanted was to pop a piece of Wrigley's double mint into her mouth and work on her laptop, which, thank God, her father had hesitantly allowed her to bring. She was 18 after all, though, so she knew when to put it down... Kinda. Wisteria resisted the pull of her things and decided to go visit the main room. She wasn't the bubbly type, but she had enough quirk and spunk to win a few friendships when needed be. Dressed in a loose dark gray shirt with a lighter gray decal of a tiger head printed on the front, nearly black denim shorts, and black converse. With all the dark clothing and her dark very wavy hair, she could've wen a shadow flitting into the main room aside from her somewhat pale skin. Entering the main room, she didn't realize how many people were in there and suddenly felt a little spooked... She leaned against the wall and watched with wide hazy green eyes, clutching her many strings of necklaces. Would someone maybe be a kind soul and come over to her? She gulped.

Riley King

This trip wasn't his idea. Riley got it from one of the guys at the garage, who had promised he would join him shortly upon arrival. The phone calls of lame excuses did nothing to lighten Riley's mood. He flung his few belongings onto the bed in his room and stormed out to the main room. People hanging around in small pairs aggravated him slightly. Riley wasn't exactly what you'd call 'friendly.' He was defiant, stubborn, and ruthless at times, often making rash decisions on the dot. A few kids with black eyes back home could tell you more about Riley, but for now, they people would just have to learn about his wild nature alone.

Riley stood out from the others. He wasn't dressed nearly or anything. His almost shoulder length hair was gelled back to reveal his intense dark eyes that would stare into your soul. His skin wasn't tan like he had been in the sun a lot. He was born with it. And the most prominent thing about Riley King? His leather jacket. No matter the weather, he had it on. He didn't expect anyone to approach him as he stood looking outside a window at the sky, scowling slightly to himself.
